Holiday Inn Chicago Dwtn - The Mart by IHG

Hotel is beautiful but there is no parking nearby for visitors. Room was clean, but I requested a city view and the view was the pool and equipment rooftop surrounded by buildings. Basically zero view of anything. Kind of disappointed. Staff was very good...helpful and kind. Location was excellent.

The hotel was great overall however the multiple elevators for me was not convenient. It’s a busy hotel.

Room was clean, loved the walk in shower, AC unit was old. Staff was wonderful. Waiting 10 days for deposit money.

Outstanding staff in each and every department!

Unfortunately, the pool was extremely cold. On our first day, my boys stayed in for only about five minutes before getting out because they were freezing. The second day was slightly better, but they still came out with purple lips from how cold the water was. It was really disappointing. The hotel is in an amazing location, and our room had a beautiful view. The sauna was definitely my favorite amenity. However, overall, the hotel was just average. For the price, I expected a higher standard. The beds felt much smaller than a typical queen size, the pool towels were very worn out, and the gym had a strong unpleasant smell. Overall, while the location and view were excellent, I left disappointed because the heated pool—which was the main attraction for my kids—didn't meet expectations.

The hotel is close to everything; restaurants, riverfront, boat tours. The hotel was clean, staff were helpful. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Great stay

Bath sink drain was coming off, with all the gunk from bath drain coming out while showering

Rooms and hallway were humid. Floor 16 needs one of those fans to pull the moisture out of the air because the rooms close to the pool felt damp. Other than that, stay was pleasant. Close to many things and easy to walk to.

Perfect location, we could walk everywhere with ease, rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. We had an amazing view.

Great location, nice room, reasonable price. Would be 5 stars but despite paying in full through hotels.Com in advance the property charges a $30 destination fee per day. I don't like surprise add-ons...

The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a beautiful view, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day. We also enjoyed spending time at the indoor pool, which was clean and well-kept. It was a great way to relax and added to the overall experience. Another highlight was the buffet breakfast. There was an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, so everyone could find something they enjoyed. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The combination of the excellent location, spotless accommodations, friendly staff, spacious rooms, great amenities, and delicious breakfast made our visit truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Location is great, The HOTEL is located right on the Riverwalk Downtown Chicago.

Restaurant is very good and food tastes excellent.
