Good stay

Great front desk employees!! Declan was super helpful! Upgraded us. The breakfast was decent. The gym was huge and had everything!! Perfect location! Walk to everything!

I had on overall good experience after staying at the hotel for the 3 nights. I checked in very late and although when I first entered the room and found it had a nice amount of space, and looked clean and comfortable, when I began checking for bed bugs under the bedspread, I found that one side of the bedsheet had some dried blood stains and also found long hair strand. I called to report it with the front desk and they apologized and sent room service to change the sheets. While I was waiting, I went into the bathroom and immediately saw what looked like a small, red piece of gum on the floor as well as small dead insects. I also found that the counter had some of those dead insects. When the room maintenance worker arrived, I showed him what I discovered in the bathroom. He apologized and told he would clean that as well. He did change the bed sheets and cleaned the areas of the bathroom. He asked if there were any other concerns. I thanked him. The rest of my stay was fine. Hotel is an a good area and close to river from where one can do tours, walking and on the river.

Other than parking ,which is non existant in all of downtown Chicago, this place was fantastic. Very nice, clean, safe and a good breakfast. All of the staff was nice and helpful. Definitely 100% better than the place we left quickly.

Hotel was very clean and located around a lot of restaurants. It was mostly quiet in the street so that was nice. It did get a little loud at night with loud cars and sirens. But that’s city life and earplugs worked well. We were out and about so didn’t get a chance to use all the amenities. Breakfast was very good and staff was fantastic.

Great staff

Great location, everything was within walking distance. The staff was helpful, the room was clean however, our bathroom door was extremely difficult to close. The beds were not very comfortable but all in all it was decent.

Clean & useful kitchen. Good location. Great front desk staff during check in, not so good during stay and check out time.

Friendly staff; the room is clean and smells good. Breakfast is free, and a security guard or front desk person is always there to make sure incoming guests are safe. I love how secure their key card is. Without tapping the card, you can't get to your floor, which is safe.

It was a great place to stay.

We asked the staff twice for extra blankets, body lotion, and body wash since the bottles were empty when we arrived. They said they would bring it right up. When they arrived, they only brought body wash. We called the front desk to inquire about the body lotion and said they didn’t have any. We asked for the blankets a separate day and time. They never came.

The included breakfast was fine overall, but it could definitely use a wider variety of options. I would have preferred more egg choices and at least having bacon available. Also, orange juice was available for the first 5 days of our stay, but it completely disappeared for the remaining 4 days. The biggest negative impact on our stay was that the shower dispensers (shampoo, body wash, and conditioner) were empty. We requested refills a couple of times. The staff member who took our request was very polite and assured us it would be taken care of when the room was made up, but it was never done. Ultimately, we had to resolve the issue by going out and buying our own toiletries. Overall, it is a good option and I do recommend it, but I strongly suggest the hotel management pays closer attention to these small details.
