Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop

On the flip-side of our visit, the elevators were terrible awful! There was await period of 5 to 10 minutes before you can get an elevator and it was only one elevator working at a time. Therefore, sometimes when we were going down, we had to catch an elevator that was going up in order to have access to an elevator and use the staff elevator in order to get where we need to go to the first or second floor. I must say that the breakfast menu was a delight and delicious entrées every day. It made me feel like I was home with a good fresh homemade meal Todos to the kitchen staff!!! This place is amazing in so many ways . In loop downtown Chicago all the employees are awesome. Very easy checking in and out . The valent drivers respected my car. Top of the line free breakfast was amazing.

Outstanding! Staff was courteous and professional and helpful in every way. Breakfast was great in a spacious and clean space. Everything very modern feeling though there were touches of nostalgia all around. The location was ideal for walking the area very easily ... everything was within a few blocks.

Hotel is a bit older and valet parking was pretty expensive ($78) a night. But overall a good experience and would stay again.

Great place to stay! Walkable to all attractions. For safety, please place rubber mat in the bathroom. It was too slippery, I almost slipped. I have to put towel on the shower floor to keep me and my family safe.

The room did not have adequate bath wash and hand soap. We had to request the front desk for soap, and towels since we were 3 adults in the room.

The hotel was in excellent conditions, clean and nice place. The room was amazing and big. The hotel staff was very nice. My husband and I had a great experience. 100% recommended

The room we had was clean. The kitchen area had a refrigerator, dishwasher, a 2 burner stove and a microwave. Our room overlooked the downtown area and we were fortunate enough to have a view of the lake from the 28th floor. With the view we had, we were able to see the fireworks from the Navy Pier. We could not see the pier though. The complimentary breakfast, varied slightly daily but all in all it was very good. It is a charming hotel. The hotel looks like the building was a 1930/40 office building converted to a hotel. Many of those types of accents remain.

Was disappointed with housekeeping. I had one day when I asked room didnt need to be cleaned. They never came back to clean on subsequent days.
