Great location close to millennium park and transit to take you where ever you need. Was nice to be further away from the crazier tourist areas. It is right by the train tracks but we didn’t hear them at all. Definitely would stay again.

Great location, very walkable. The gym is nice.

We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. The room was very nice, however I would hesitate to stay at this hotel again for the following reasons: very poor water pressure in the shower, no vanity for make up application, and poorly draining bathroom sink.

Great location, Five Star bed comfort. Booked a non-smoking room and given a disgusting smoking room that had a permanent haze on it. They initially refused to fix. Finally given another non smoking. Shower pressure was non existent. Individual room AC was WEAK. Worst shower ever.

Had a great stay at the Silversmith Chicago. The stars of my stay were Beverly and Susan, at the front desk. Besides being a joy to work with on hotel business they both had great recommendations for places to go and things to do. The Silversmith is about three blocks from the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park. Plenty to do and see without the need of a car or transportation. Cheers to the staff and keep up the spectacular work!

Coffee maker doesn’t work well Shampoo and Body wash dispensers barely dispenses product Refrigerator warm They did offer us plenty of water and housekeeping was great

First, shout out to Beverly and Susan for showing excellent hospitality. This is our third stay at The Silversmith Hotel. It is outstanding! We love the staff, the rooms, the location and the price. We will be back for our fourth stay. We have found Chicago to be a friendly city! We have nothing negative to share.

Room wasn’t as described, was told water was complimentary, and then was charged for it. I had four rooms and 8 people staying, the receptionist only checked me into one room at first, assuming 8 people were all staying in one room? I had to pay for each room as a separate transaction, even though the Hotel’s app did not include the $100 deposit on EACH room in the overall price. I also was made to believe that each of the four rooms i selected would have a king size bed, and a pull out couch; yet no pull out couch was made available in ANY of the four rooms that i paid for. Considering how nice this hotel claims to be, i am quite disappointed by the outcome, and wouldn’t recommend staying here to anybody who can avoid it.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. Greeted me every time I got off the elevator with a smile and a good morning or a good afternoon.

Stylish and comfortable hotel in great location in The Loop, minutes from the Art Institute, parks, the lake, and tons of shopping, restaurants, etc. Good breakfast, though a little slow -- perhaps understaffed? And a decent bar. Easy access and valet parking.

Such a great choice of staff at this hotel, they truly do their best to make everything about your stay comfortable and stress free!
