I enjoyed my stay and would recommend. May I offer a suggestion to service pork and turkey bacon.

Great location and easy public transportation to explore the city and Wrigley field. Lovely room with great view.
-
The staff was helpful and generally awesome.

We loved being in the loop. We walked to Navy Pier, the Bean, a river cruise and many other attractions. The food was amazingly good close to the hotel. It’s a great place to stay and enjoy the city!!
-
While the staff were lovely this definitely wasn't worth it. The amenities are old, the rooms are TINY and they nickle and dime you for everything. Won't be staying at this pineapple again.

Superb

Easy walk to millenium park as well. Loved going on a morning run down there, along the water and then up the river walk and back. There are so many hotels to choose from in Chicago! This one was a great pick!

This place is fantastic! A fun place in great location. Highly recommend.

The only complaint we have is no coffee for the morning. They have those self coffee machines in the room but make only a small cup. Happy hour was supposed to have one free wine and beer. They didnt have beer and only had a couple of bottles of cheap wine. Also during out stay, our mini fridge in our room stopped working and on day 2 all the dog food and perishables we kept in it, Spoiled. When we called for maintenance, they said the surge protector tripped and turned the fridge off so …. Just make sure your fridge is working. We had to throw away about 50.00 worth of dog food and kid snacks.

Usually, I have difficulty falling asleep on the first night. Enjoyed the bed, slept well every night, very comfortable. Rooms were clean and had a good view of the city. Also, easy access to River Walk and Millennium Park.

Comfy beds, and appreciated the water and additional beverages. Will definitely see you again in Chicago!

We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location and wonderful service! I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a convenient location for work, shopping, Millennium Park, and the Riverwalk restaurants and bars. Additionally, the front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome.

Only negative thing was the elevator next to the check in needs to be fixed. It works. Just during using it you think you may die. Super cool historical hotel. They got me in to check in early which was appreciated especially during a huge festival across the street. One of the more comfortable beds and beddings ive used in a while. Very easy spot. I like that the room key was a physical key that I also didn’t lose haha

The location was great, the hotel was clean, and the staff was very helpful, but I expected a much nicer hotel based on the reviews. It felt overpriced for what it offered and felt to me more like a budget hotel in need of a refresh than the other hotels we’ve that Expedia has labeled as 4 star. There was a lot of chipped paint, and the hallways and room felt a bit old and dingy despite everything being clean. It also didn’t offer the turndown service listed as an amenity on Expedia, which is no surprise now. They also only clean the rooms every other day, which wasn’t super convenient since we were traveling with a baby. The staff was always quick to respond to a request for trash to be taken out or extra linens. However, we always had to go down to the front desk to make a request because our phone either didn’t work or the staff was too busy to answer the phone. One final issue was that the room didn’t have blackout curtains and so much light came in from the street lamps that it did make it difficult to sleep, so you’d want to bring an eye mask if you were sensitive to light while sleeping.

Really nice historic hotel. Love the old school touches (physical key for room!). Really friendly and welcoming staff. Great location. Nice comfortable room. Gym was a bit on the small side.
