I did not understand that this is not an actual hotel. It’s just a series of rooms in an air bnb-style set up. There is no front desk and nobody to help with issues. The room we got was dirty (dusty, filthy carpet, centipede ran through the room in the morning, shower didn’t drain), the mattress was awful, there were no nightstands, no tissue, the bed was pushed right up to a large, dusty wooden electric fireplace so you couldn’t even walk on one side of it. I wish I had realized it was basically just a room for rent because I would have stayed in a proper hotel. If you want a hotel, don’t stay here. If you’re ok with hostel level amenities, roll the dice. It was so bad that if there had been a front desk, I would have immediately checked out and gone elsewhere. But there wasn’t.

The good: - inside the bedroom the paintings on the wall, the rugs, and soap washer decor was beautiful, I loved the color choices of the room as well. - the window outlook was on a brick wall but you still get decent sunlight and watching rainy days is very relaxing and satisfying - if you ever want fresh air the window was easy to open - the bed was very soft and comfy - room was spacious! The poor/okay: - no site table with a lamp was odd, the over head lights were too far and too much sometimes - decor wise, the random brown pipes hanging on the wall reminded me of septic tanks. The fake plants that were sitting on the desk were dusty and also displeasing. It makes me feel like if these cannot be dusted/cleaned, then what else is being missed or skipped? - the bathroom was the worst experience out of this room: -> the door was incredible hard to open and close for the bathroom, it was so loud and appeared like the paint just kept making it stick together -> there is no place to hang a hand towel for washing your hands, you can hang it on a mirror that is where the hand towel should be hanging -> the toilet seat was too small for the toilet -> the shower door was not attached and easily felt like it could be broken when sliding -> the shower water CONSTANTLY shifts hot to cold every 10s. Awful. -> stayed for 2 nights, showered the first night, left the fan on the whole time, shower never dried, bad air flow

Note that there is no staff on the premises and everything is communicated through text which was tricky at first but quickly it was no problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay. Hard to beat the location. Decor was cool. Would definitely stay again.
-
Great location, nice room. Wish I had known they didn’t offer luggage storage. No fridge in the room.
-
Great location. Close to a lot of cool things to do.

We were given the wrong security code to enter the buildings

Located in a fun Neighbourhood. Do not stay in room 3A. Between street noise, kitchen noise and staircase noise there is no way to sleep. The water pressure was awful. Grout is full of mold.

The breakfast was not fresh. It looks like the rolls offered were about two days old. One banana. The inside stairs were very difficult to navigate, though we had been advised of that. Tried to access the room from the outside stairs, but our code did not work.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights. Overall, I think that we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that peeved us. The biggest thing was that though hot water just wouldn’t turn off no matter what we tried. The water was scolding hot so we were unable to use the shower. Also, the customer service was a little poor with no one being on site. Help was hard to come by if they fix the water issue and maybe had a bit more responsiveness I would easily rate them four stars, but until these issues are fixed, we will not be returning.

Very unique room, high ceilings, random foot massager that was nice.

Was in a nice secluded location decent for a short stay No tv bedding not too clean
-
Comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom, perfect location, and easy to find. We would definitely book again. FYI: One of the handles on the shower was broken and hanging.

Clean room great location

We had a nice, spacious room in a great location of Wicker Park. There were tons of restaurants and shops right outside our door. We had a 3rd floor unit in this walk-up "hotel." My only slightly negative comment is that the mattress was a little soft/sunken in the middle.
-
Great location for access to Wicker Park neighborhood. Minor issues, shower door broken, dirty entry. Be prepared for zero amenities and no closet but everything you need is accessible nearby. Good room and reasonably quiet so if all you need is a place to sleep this is perfect.

Just a Chic Clean and quiet room. Super simple directions to enter. No amenities. Street parking , No t.v. , Very near restaurants and bars.
-
Great location - simple clean comfortable bed to sleep in.
