Excellent hotel for the price! Excellent location. Nice pool. Nice outdoor area. Amazing view!!

At 9:32am, Gary brings out the breakfast. I’m annoyed, not even given the option after this experience of “ma’am, would you still like to dine in?”

The truth is that this hotel is one of the best, good service, a very pleasant stay, everything clean and tidy, there is nothing to complain about

The location is great and my room was facing the lake/Navy Pier. Access to Navy Pier was great.
-
It was the perfect location for our family. Amazing views and a short walk anywhere we needed to be!
-
Great location. Very friendly and helpful. Lake side view rooms are awesome. Short walk to navy pier

The hotel is a good location. I will say the elevator situation is horrible!! The line during peak hours is crazy but nice stay. The did run out of towels the last night and had to wait until the morning for some. Other than the elevator and towel situation, I would stay here again.

We booked this room to watch the 4th of July fireworks. The lake view room had a spectacular view of navy pier. The bellhop was very helpful and friendly. The hotel seems a little dated but everything seemed to function properly. Pool was nice. Short walk to navy pier. Kids had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

Refrigerator in the room. Clean and quiet. Good location, especially if you're getting around on public transit. Good restaurants in the area The Wade did not respond to a Booking.com "special request" (can I drop my bag off earlier than check-in), and reaching them by phone took me through the usual AI-hell. But once I got through, they said "okay." No in-room coffee, and lobby coffee didn't start until about 6:00am. Temps were as high as 99°F during my stay, but can't blame The Wade for that! A/C was more than fine.

The view was spectacular.

My favorite hotel in Chicago. Love it

Most of their amenities and cool views were closed off. The only perk is their beds and the location of the hotel. It is not kept up.

I like the location it was nice. Well I didn’t like that the bartenders on 6/30/1968 around 1000 or 1100 while we was at the bar a couple came to the bar with their dog. And the bartenders allowed them to let their dog drink out of glasses on the bar. This was very disgusting to me for them to allow a dog to drink out of the glasses.

Cons - Maintenance had to come to our room 3 times. 1 - TV didn’t work and 2 times to due to the ac not working and then they need to replace it. They did not have towels? We only got two and they said they had no more every time we reached out for some.

Amazing all around

The young lady that checked me in was absolutely amazing the entire stay. There’s a lot of water damage on the wood in the rooms to the point where it is bubbled up. The pillows are soft but flat and the duvet covers felt like it was possibly rubber. The television options were horrible. It is a nice hotel but it shows that they rely more so on the view and area vs how the upkeep is. I had a lot of dust piles in corners and my ceilings had spots on it.

Staffs are friendly but didn’t solved the room issue. My room was right behind the elevator. It was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I asked to change it to the another room, but I didn't hear anything after.
-
Everything was close to me. The shower tube was yellow and I didn’t have a microwave to heat up my bbs milk and had to wait a lot to get my car.
-
Nice hotel, nice location, very poor cell reception. I could not receive or make calls from the room, I had to go outside to use my phone. In my line of work that's a deal killer.
