Novel experience, every detail is thoughtful. Populus is a gem. I didn’t appreciate being forced to pre-purchase my choice between $69 for breakfast or $60 for parking. I didn’t want or need either.

It was a super nice experience the staff is more than amazing hotel is gorgeous.

Only con I can think of is that the room feel a a bit dark especially at the vanity area for a woman trying to wear makeup. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I were here for a long weekend and couldn’t have been more happy. It’s a beautiful building, inside and out, with a great gym, coffee options for early risers and a cafe in the lobby with the best coffee we had in Denver.

Great hotel!

This is a unique and exceptional experience from the distinct outside to the staff and branding through the hotel. Restaurants and food exceptional and water fill stations on each floor. What a great stay.

Great location downtown Denver. Interesting architecture and building materials inside and out. Appreciated the focus on "green" and sustainability. Room was on the smaller side but was clean, and liked the QR code option to leave tip for housekeeping. Enjoyed breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Only disappointment was we arrived late and the bar closed early. Would definitely stay again!

Lives up to the hype

Very clean and modern hotel. Loved the aesthetic of the common areas and the rooms. Only complaint is the air conditioner only worked when there was someone in the room and the shades were open so it took forever to cool down. The front desk staff made it seem like there was an observation deck on the roof but it’s a rooftop restaurant that’s pretty classy so we did not check it out as we had our son with us and there was a hostess station as soon as you step off the elevator. There was a surprise pop up edm concert next door at city hall that was very loud and could be heard from inside our room but the staff was super accommodating and brought earplugs to us and assured us the noise ordinance at 10pm would have them shutting down soon and they did shut down around 10:30pm. Valet parking only but it was very quick and convenient. We did not feel rushed or in the way when getting out of our vehicle like we did in other areas of the city like union station.

Very nice and great for downtown walking

Architecture of the hotel was quirky and interesting and love the windows in the room. Although room is on smaller side, it's designed in a very functional manner. Bed was comfortable and the daily activity pass with free entry to museum and memberships was a nice little touch.

The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly love it here

The hotel looked neat and well-maintained. No hotel parking lot, we had a car rental and used valet service (later saw that there were public lots across the street that might be cheaper). Our room was small but suitable for the two of us, it was generally clean (the hot water kettle was questionable), the bed was comfy and the shower was decently spacious and had good pressure. The Owl Roost had very good coffee, we enjoyed breakfast at Pasque and late-night drinks on the rooftop patio at Stellar Jay. The staff were friendly, we interacted with the valets more than anyone else and they were great.
