Room was fine; however tub water was clogged when you showered and reached calf level/stain on kitchen cabinet shelf. Front desk refused to provide extra soap upon request, stating "...there was plenty" (1 face bar for 2 people). I learned that disabled/handicap guests did not have to pay for parking, however I was charged for parking in spite of going to MD Anderson all week long. This was eventually resolved after asking manager "Would you like to see written documentation regarding my health?". In spite of being a Hilton Honors member, I was refused extended checkout because I booked through a third party. I was never offered the MD Anderson reduced rate ($45 decrease per night) even when I extended my stay after discussing with front desk. Washer/dryer had an "out-of-order" sign through our departure date, and the manager defensively insisted they worked properly, in spite of the "out-of-order" sign. The manager did not apologize whatsoever for any of the issues. Only one front desk individual was extraordinarily helpful and friendly- ironically they had given a 2-week notice to leave. Shuttle service was superb. Shuttle driver "Brenda" was a daily dose of sunshine, especially needed when transported to the hospital. Daily breakfast was convenient.

No breakfast The beds were HORRIBLE. Must have been mattresses someone found on the side of the road. So small! Deep indentations, higher in the center. My husband was so uncomfortable ,he got up and tried to sleep in the ONE CHAIR in the room, but couldn’t. My husband ,my daughter, and I were there for my surgery Tuesday, so we really needed rest. Bad beds, and ONE CHAIR FOR THREE ADULTS certainly made a stressful situation worse. Staff knew we are handicapped. The shower has ONE grab bar.(Not enough) Never in my life have I seen a toilet paper roll on a moving swivel you had to wrestle with your left hand behind you while seated on the toilet. ( THE ROLL FALLS ON THE FLOOR) I still haven’t figured out the bathroom faucet (On,Off, Hot, Cold) No ventilation fan. In a bathroom. ????? There was one fourth of a roll of toilet paper when we arrived. Had to go to the front down a very long hall to get ONE roll ( they couldn’t bring it to us) Again, they knew we are handicapped. And I had asked for a room near handicapped parking. It wasn’t. I believe there were two bath towels for three adults. All things considered, it was a night we will never forget, and not in a good way. We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kerrville, Texas many times. It has always been delightful. Hampton made what was a difficult situation already even more difficult. We didn’t stay for the second night we had paid for and drug our exhausted bodies home when we were too tired to drive safely. To think we paid for this experience!!! I’d like to hear from corporate. Arleen Eledge

Everything was great, a comfy room, little fridge, close to where I needed to go. There was a bit of a funky scent in the elevator but other than that, it's was all fine
