the location as i came for the Fever game.. Parking was a little steep for being out in the elements & not a secure lot!

Incredibly helpful staff from front desk to housekeeping to valet. It's an older downtown property so there are some cleanliness and maintenance issues - all minor - that come with an old urban core hotel. But great access to sports, restaurants, etc. And again, as of Aug. 2026, staff was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Our room was comfortable, clean, and the hotel is in a great location. It is just one block's walk to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It was very convenient for attending the Indiana Fever game. In the morning, breakfast was good with a variety of offerings. We enjoyed our stay in downtown Indianapolis at the Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown.

Location is great. Staff is friendly, front desk and valet. Value is okay. Appreciate water at check in Room smelled musty this time, and I didn't like the pillows. Breakfast was so-so. We were more satisfied a previous visit.

Overall ok but room smelled like a sewer and toilet was literally broken causing that smell. Hopefully it gets fixed before anyone else stays in that room

Loved the location and great breakfast. Staff was very nice and we felt safe there. Very close to Gainbridge, good restaurants and shopping. Our bathroom could have been cleaner when we arrived and many of the carpets throughout the hotel were stained. They should be cleaned or replaced because it makes the property seem less nice than it really was.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Hotel was in walking distance to the basketball stadium.

Perfect location to walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for sports events. Hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. Use the Valet parking, it's pricey, but it'll save your sanity from driving around trying to find limited parking. I will stay there again.

Great place to stay if you’re going to a Fever or Pacers game!

Carpet in the lobby was rough. the room smell like cigarette smoke. The TV did not work for the first day. They sent a repair man that night before we got there to do something to it. He got it fixed, but after he left, it stopped working. We finally got a pic to next morning.
