Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown on the Canal

Close to downtown Does the appliances ceiling was Dusty above the bed and very loud refrigerator

Hotel was clean. Good location if you need to stay downtown. Rooms were surface clean. Door frames discolored from dirty hands. Visible dust and dirt in popcorn ceiling from AC vents, bottom shower wall I had to play a game of is it cake or water soaked drywall. Breakfast area was clean and stocked. Staff tried to be helpful but didn't know much. Overall decent. I would stay again if nothing else available.

It was a wonderful experience. If you are a runner or a person that likes short walks by the water. Plenty of bars in the area and a Kroger in walking distance. 24hr gym and a nice clean indoor pool. Streaming service on tv and the breakfast was great. If you are going to stay in downtown Indy make this the spot to stay. I know for a fact that I will.

Hotel was very clean and great location. I did have to put together my whole room when I arrived closing all cabinet doors and putting the soft bed together. My t.v also said steven when I arrived next day said another name other than mine making me think it was someone else room.

Staff on the other hand are not that friendly and what I mean is they do not acknowledge you at all, when you walk in, their is no smile or hello...not even a glance. Breakfast is not good and the breakfast attendant does not even acknowledge you, they look like they don't enjoy their job at all..don't get me wrong I don't expect a rolled out carpet and greeting but a simple good morning or hello response when I say hello or smile. Parking is good and well lit but $33 a day is a little much I think.

Nice hotel on the canal and convenient to downtown restaurants. We rode our bikes to the awesome riverwalk and the beautiful zoo. Room/bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Slept well. Breakfast was very good.

Chris the front desk attendant was amazing! He was the only bright spot of this hotel.

Beds were awful. The pull out couch was not fit for anyone to get a good nights sleep. Therefore we had to pay for another room for the 2 who could not sleep on that pull out bed!!!!! There was so much running and stomping going on above our room. We are lucky if we got 4 hours of sleep!!!!! We had no view of the canal and we were put in a handicap room that we did not request!!! Awful experience!

This was our second stay a year apart. It’s is a great place to stay with a beautiful cannel walk. Food close by and very friendly staff.

Location BOOGERS ON THE WALL!!! We did not notice until we got up the next morning and just was completely disgusted

The hospitality was above and beyond. Jeanie at the front desk was spectacular. Seeing I was traveling with my two granddaughters(Ages 6 and almost 4) she had a room for me on the first floor in the perfect spot without out me saying a word.
