La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Airport

I understand that the property is pet friendly and that I was bringing a pet but that should not be an excuse to have your room, smell like wet dog the entire time you are there. My room looked like it had not been actually cleaned in several weeks. There was so much crap all over the mirrors and there was hair from the previous people on the bathroom floor. I also noticed that on the ceiling in the entry to my room, it looked like what there was to be black mold…. Thank God, I was only there for one night.

The elevator has a horrendous smell.

It was in a pretty good area of town

Location is convenient to the airport .

The pool was okay but alittle on the cold side. We hung out in the room for a bit then left for a few hours, when we came back there was a large amount of ants attacking my daughter’s drink she had on the desk. The guy at the front desk just said oh, would you like a different room? So we had to switch rooms at 10:30 at night. No apologies and no discounts. The rooms definitely needs some work above the ac unit, was the same in both rooms. The curtains had holes in one room and were dirty in the next. We definitely won’t be back.

Its was ok&the bed was kind of hard .

The gentleman running the check in desk was wonderful! I arrived early, before scheduled check in with a terrible migraine headache. He allowed me to check in early and waived the fee , so that I could lay down. I really appreciated his kindness.

Old building, breakfast not that great. Crockpots that don’t keep food good. Have done some updates. Newer carpet, and some new furniture. Not musty.

The room somehow smelled moldy and very humid.

Once the shuttle picked me up after 40 minutes- they could bring me back to airport at 2:30am- only 4am and my flight was at 5am- the driver went in and said no they couldn’t- so I didn’t even go inside- I canceled and rebooked to another hotel

The bathroom was recently repaired, however, I could see and smell the moisture damage around the bathroom door and door frame. Besides that issue, I wanted to take the mattress with me. It just molded to my body which was extremely helpful after the car accident I was injured in.

The pool was closed for health violations! The couch in the room had crumbs and some crystallized liquid! The shower curtain was dirty! There was one person working the front and breakfast! I would not recommend this place!

Aged structure that has not been kept up.

The staff were very kind and friendly. As a person traveling alone, I felt safe.

Room was clean and comfortable. Fitness center was good. Breakfast was just like any other continental breakfast - nothing special. Pool was shut down due to health issues?
