Everything was great except we did not receive towels, trash bags, or toilet paper even one time despite calling and requesting when they did not after the first day
-
The room was super clean, the overall vibe of the hotel is very trendy and cool but when you look closely you can see in certain areas where the property is dated/worn. That said, the staff was excellent and we had a great experience!

strawberries and had a bottle of chilled champagne upon our return from dinner. We will definitely be a frequent guest here for all our celebrations

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and comfortable rooms BUT amenities were mediocre at best. No airport shuttle. Terrible WiFi. Tiny pool with very little shade other than their few, expensive cabanas. “Full service breakfast” consists of expensive microwaved premade croissants. Coffee shop closes at noon. No options for lunch. Room service and restaurant not available/open until 3:00 pm. Limited soft drink choices (no Diet Coke).

Loved the pool, bar and coffee area for breakfast!

Large clean room and great shower. Good location.

Love this hotel! Conveniently located on the Country Club Plaza, close to great restaurants and the wonderful Loose Park. The staff are friendly and the roof top pool is a nice place to relax and enjoy the views.

Friendly staff, great food!

Loved the pool deck and bar area.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. Our middle school age daughter loved the rooftop pool! Overall the property is well maintained but is showing signs of age. There was a constant water or fan sound in the room that was annoying.

Will be my go to when visiting Kansas City

Rooms were not that nice for the price we paid.

Everything was fine until it was time to go to sleep the first night and our daughter pulled back her covers to get into bed. The comforter on the bed was so filthy dirty with stains that we could see them with just one dim light on. The staff who came to switch it out actually took pictures of it before taking it away. It was vet poor hygiene on their part. When we asked to speak to a manager there was always an excuse or response of why he was so busy that we couldn’t. We left an email and a voicemail and my husband even waited in the lobby for him. There’s just some basic things you should be able to count on when you stay at a hotel like this and clean bedding is one of those things. Based on the price point of this hotel I definitely expected better and would hope the management staff would at the very least take some time to say I’m sorry and take accountability for the hotel.

Very friendly staff; great pool and poolside services. The room was very clean but had kinks such as a glass shower door that was misaligned and would slam and one side of the closet door didn’t open.
-
It would be nice to have coffee maker in the room but other than that our experience was really good.

Awesome check in, great customer service, beautiful clean rooms. There was I think to not like.
-
Unfriendly staff and a filthy bathroom. I will not be returning.

Overall the Fontaine was a very nice hotel. The beds were comfortable and the location was good, just a few minutes walk to the Plaza. The pool was nice, but quite small and not a lot of lounging chairs. They were filled up when we arrived around 10am. I was also surprised there was no coffeemaker in the room and th coffee shop in the lobby didn't open until 7am, which is too late for me. We did also have the air conditioning go out, but it was fixed fairly quickly.

Everything was phenomenal
