You need to ask for a cleaning service and even toilet paper. Food was good, Location was great! they are super friendly

Full breakfast available on the listing, so we prepaid. DO NOT PREPAY for breakfast. It is a small cafe, limited items. We basically overpaid. The cafe staff have no sink to wash their hands after clearing tables. They were friendly but I would not eat there again. Also at checkin front desk forgot to give us the breakfast ticket. Balcony view is not worth it if on third floor and below. Fridge in room made horrible noise. Bed comfy, room nice but horrible loud bathroom fan that is connected to a light, so to have the second light on the fan has to run. We will choose somewhere else next time, especially with a nicer breakfast option full restaurant.

Great stay but no laundry rooms.

This hotel was conveniently located right next to the country club plaza. It was clean and modern. The staff were cordial and helpful, but not necessarily effusive.

I travel for work and this was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed at. There were dirty bed sheets in the stairways, floss picks on the ground. When I checked into my room there was no toilet paper. Someone had stuffed paper in the peepholes from the inside and they were still inside the hole when I checked in. Avoid this place. Ryan, the woman at the front desk was awful in fixing any problems I had.

Stylish hotel with convenient parking and access to multiple restaurants within walking distance. Nice pool, decent breakfast, great shower!

We really liked the overall "vibe" of the hotel. It was somewhat of a "boutique" style. Modern and comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable and the room had nice tall ceilings. Unexepted surprise was that our room openened up to a little patio that connected to a courtyard that had seating and outdoor games like Jenga, etc. So that was pretty cool. Our one complaint was that they did not have a hair dryer in the room and only one small trash can in the toilet area, so anytime we needed to throw something away we had to go to the bathroom. Not a huge deal but usually your room has both-one in the main area & bathrooom. The hair dryer was a bigger deal as we didn't pack one since EVERY hotel I have ever stayed at has one. We had to go to the front desk to request one. We liked that the hotel was near the shops at the Plaza and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming on more than one occassion. There was a bit of noise in the morning that disturbed our sleep, not sure what was going on with that. Overall, we would stay there again.

Clean, updated, balcony in my room. No coffee in the room. I enjoy a cup of coffee immediately upon awaking. Every other hotel I have ever stayed at had an in-room coffee maker. Also, NO information in the room about amenities available in the hotel — room service, etc.

Great location and this is my favorite Kansas City hotel but i didn’t get a shower cap because a hospitality kit was not provided. There wasn’t a coffee machine or kettle provided, though I asked twice at the reception. No mugs either. And room service was skipped for almost 2 days until I asked. We ran out of soap and toilet paper.

Ms. Ryan at the Registration Desk was simply amazing. I purchased a stay at the Fontaine for my step daughter and son in law for their honeymoon and she made everything amazing for them! She took care of all of the special details…Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in their room at check in among others. They were so surprised and impressed! Thank you for making their first night incredible!

This hotel is beautiful. When I wanted to add one night to my stay, I had to call 4 times, no one was able to help me and when I asked the manager Tashe, she never called me back.

It’s not as fancy as it advertises The room service isn’t made really clear The breakfast are for very lacking in stuff

Clean, spacious room and great location. For the price of valet parking ($40 per night), I expect to get my car back in under 5 minutes, not 10-15 minutes. Especially considering, it wasn’t busy for checkout/ no one else was waiting for their car pick up. (Didn’t know it at the time, but we saw the parking staff just chatting for several minutes while we were waiting for the car.)

    Loved it!!

Not helpful when I asked about daily cleaning of room. Response was that I had to request it beforehand each day. The location of the hotel is not ideal if you are seeking to walk and tour the downtown, The property feels isolated and distant from KC attractions,

Everything was excellent. The only sigh would be to make it clear that the Country Coffe Club and the Solarium for Breakfast are one and the same. The in house directories list them separately with separate menus and seemingly different locations when they are one and the same.
