I didn’t go the reviews kept coming in about nasty rooms and hotels The reviews stated it was nasty

Location! Staff! They were supposed to bring us extra pillows and didn’t so I slept without a pillow! They were not friendly! Pet deposit was too high! No vending machines! Had a small snack items to buy! Soda was flat!

The overall feeling was that it wasn't clean. The floors were dirty and the breakfast area was messy. The maintenance man had a huge job keeping up with everything that was broken The whole place was in a state of disrepair. The light bulb was burned out the grab bar in the shower was falling off the wall the floor needed to be vacuumed, the grab bar in the elevator was loose, and the air conditioner wasn't working,and the door to the room needed a new battery The coffee was lukewarm and the floor in the breakfast needed to be cleaned. The facility was very dated.

The staff was very nice. The coffee pots could stand to be upgraded to electric ones so the coffee would stay hot.

I was close to the office where I needed to go The staff did not give enough information about the services such as breakfast time or the location of the elevator until I asked. The elevator is in bad condition The rooms have a strong musty smell, I had to spray a product to neutralize odors. It was very unpleasant. I had to ask to change my room because my sheets were stained with something brown, it was disgusting. Although the guy at the reception changed it quickly. The beds are not very comfortable, I woke up with back pain. At breakfast the staff was unfriendly, they were not willing to help and kept in a bad mood all the time. There was no fruit! And the egg and sausage were cold. Disappointing experience to be a Hampton

NOTHING Room was entirely too small for 2 beds!!! No closet, only pegs on the wall with hangers & curtain to pull in front! Only stayed one night, should have checked out before that night!!!! WISH WE HAD MADE PICTURES!!!

The whole hotel need an upgrade, rooms look like 1958, carpet came from ancient years, the bed linen has a small odor of old linen that seeps in your skin. But room has nice wall mirror. 😊

The location The air wasn't working. The smell of the room. The carpet was old. The description is not accurate on the website. The fitness room was closed and the pool.

Booking was made due to extensive power outages in Memphis. Family member who is blind and has other medical issues ended his stay early when power returned.so he could return to a familiar home environment. Relative notified Front Desk at checkout and there was a discussion with Hotel Manager shortly after his departure. Manager agreed to reach out to a business contact with Orbitz so individual would not be charged for 5 days when he stayed only 1 night. Manager agreed to return call with update. However, call was not received and message was subsequently left for manager who still didn't return call. Hotel manager said it was up to Orbitz to refund and Orbitz said they could only do so with Hotel approval. Instead of being good community stewards the big corporations financially benefited from the situation. It would have been reasonable if the parties charged the consumer for 2 nights but instead he paid the cost of 5 nights when he only stayed one night. / Be very careful when booking when there are complicated and unpredictable circumstances.

The property need to be renovated in the inside. It smelled like mildew. The hotel is just old.

Same breakfast each morning and there wasn’t much to that breakfast - just sausage and peppers and cereal - at times no milk. Many things in room and hotel not working. Very dirty all around and just not well maintened.

Currently, the front desk manager is constantly charging our card, and we paid for a night-to-night stay as a Hilton Honors member. They did not accommodate as we have requested ahead of time to have rooms on the first floor being we had people with Disabilities with us and children that didn’t happen ended up on the fourth floor The rooms were not clean anyhow, the audacity to send me an email with a with an invoice attached, that I have not paid after I got my deposit’s back for all three rooms stayed four nights. We really had no choice. It was a Southern Heritage weekend. I was not going to ruin my family vibe complaining all the time front desk. I was on vacation. Definitely reaching out to corporate on a good note Lupe front desk in the afternoon morning and another long day. I my apologies she was there the longest a big help. It made the stay easy enough for me not to have to complain and keep my and my family's vibe.
