Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt

The building itself is old. The rooms are nice and they are clean, and they are also updating all the rooms. But the outside of the building and the pool area is not well maintained and definitely needs refurbishment.

Everything was great except for paying to park at the hotel. This is the first time I've ever had to pay to park at a hotel I paid to stay at.

Better pool area , it was alittle dirty

Comfortable bed and spaciousrooms are very nice for night before surgery. Also very convenient, just right down the road from Baptist ambulatory surgery center.

The staff is great but the property is very dated. The lobby smelled like weed and the room was musty.

Great stay

One word of warning. They advertise indoor parking is available but what they don’t tell you is it’s an additional $40.00 Most motels tell you there is a fee up front.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well maintained and the area is a good change from the noise of the city. I stayed here for a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities including the gym.

As always, the staff was great, very friendly, the room was very clean and the breakfast was really good. Me and my friends love staying in Hyatt.

Location and pool and breakfast

Was given the wrong room, we paid for a suite upgrade and was given a standard room. We over paid for the room we didn’t get.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the more than continental breakfast. Fruit and yogurt were great. Great location.

I will NEVER stay there again! They are supposed to work with Vanderbilt patients and they don’t.

Included breakfast is a very nice perk and was very good. Rooms were clean and fresh. Room temperature was comfortable and consistently cool. Key card required for elevator gave extra security. Did not like that parking is an extra added expense separate from the hotel room charge, even though it was a Hyatt parking garage. Easier if it could be added to your bill.

Clean room, nice staff, easy parking and great breakfast

The room was clean. The bathroom was very nice, features were great. Check-in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. Access to parking could have been better. We had to walk a good bit to reach a door to access the property.

But the staff is what I'll remember. Claudia and Valeria ran the best complimentary breakfast I've had in over a decade. Thorough, professional, a real start to the day. Mariah, Sergio, and Chyra kept the front desk sharp. Mareyling and Maribel took pride in the rooms as top-notch housekeepers for the week. I'll be back.
