Hyatt Select Nashville/Opryland

Friendly staff and location is great The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. The TV would only work half the time. The room smelt like they left the laundry in the washer for too long .

The elevator was slow and non functional on a the day we were at the property. Parking was confusing.

Location Elevator broke so climbing 3 flights of stairs was bad in my bad knees & did not accept cash :(

There is no shuttle! You end up spending on Ubers! My "cleaning service" was new towels, but my bed was unmade. The counters/vanity were visibly dirty upon arrival.

This is the worst Hyatt I've ever stayed in. Everything under construction, dust everywhere, water shut off during our stay, pools closed during the hottest time of the year. Wet paint smell, elevators are barely hanging on. They only had one side running so the wait was ridiculous. The one side of the elevator that did work stopped working during our stay so we had to take the stairs. The bathroom door locks but still pops right open. Front desk directs us to the 3rd and 5th floor for ice and neither floor has ice. One had a machine but not operating and in the mist disgusting trash shoot that was about 120 degrees . I was disappointed and honestly never want to stay at a Hyatt again. It was that bad.

The Shower's water was lukewarm to cold, the in room phone didn't work, and the number one reason we stayed at this property was for the unavailable shuttle?

Bathroom needed a refresh. Elevator was down for a good portion of the day when we checked in. Stairs were not my friend’s favorite who has breathing issues. The pool was not open as it stated in the website which was a disappointment considering it was in the 90’s. Breakfast selection wasn’t that great.

The elevators didn’t work when we arrived so we had to haul our luggage up four flights of stairs. It was fixed the next day, but irritating and inconvenient to say the least. Also, there was little to NO hot water the entire weekend we were there. We took cold showers every night.

Advertised pool was open til Oct 31 but arrived to find it is closed at Labor day. Elevator broken for one day. We were on the fifth floor and it was 100° outside. TV never worked eventho asked for repair multiple times. AC very loud. Breakfast ok but kept running out of things. Highest priced hotel in that area. Expected more from Hyatt. Would not stay again given the multiple options. Shout out to Chad, the afternoon guy. He was great!!!!

When I checked in the person on property was rude elevators was down for 4 hours pool was green shuttle there wasn't any

working and it broke down our last night so everyone had to use the stairs. The next morning it was working but was extremely slow. The pool was closed even though it was in the 90s and the other 2 hotels on either side had theirs open. It appears that for most of the day the entire 5 story hotel is managed by 1 staff person at the desk. On the plus side the front desk staff were very friendly. There are 2 hotels next door that I would recommend.

Wet carpet from the air conditioner and the pool was advertised as being open and it wasn’t. That was the only reason I booked this hotel. Bathroom (toilet and shower) is extremely tight!

I liked the cleanliness of the property, and the staff was very friendly . Had to ask for towels every day , the breakfast was very disappointing . The pool and area around it needed some attention. The pool was green and they closed at mid week. It was 99° every day we were there..

The staff was great and friendly. The rooms are very small. Only one elevator worked but was very slow.

The Staff was quick to respond if we needed something replaced or fixed. The breakfast was great.

The front seat staff were all excellent. The housekeeping was poor. We stayed 6 nights and our garbage was emptied once. No bed making or clean sheets, not fresh towels and nothing cleaned. The pool was closed for maintenance the entire stay.
