Kimpton Aertson Hotel by IHG

It wasn’t up to the standards that I was expecting having stayed at a Kimpton before (and had an AMAZING experience). It was just several little things that just weren’t at the right level.

Very nice and friendly staff. Close to a lot of things. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, etc. really enjoyed the rooftop pool.

Filthy and ac doesn’t work.

Unfortunately, the service inside the hotel was inconsistent. The young woman who checked me out was not friendly, & I had similar experiences with a couple of employees during happy hour. I was also disappointed to discover an additional destination or amenity fee. I booked through Hotels.com, so the lack of clarity may have been more of a Hotels.com issue. However, after reading more about the fee, it appeared that certain benefits or credits were included in return. No one at the front desk ever explained the fee or told us how to use those benefits, which made the charge especially frustrating. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with a terrific location.

Left a note to bring more towels and never did. Room had a musty smell.

The corner studio king room was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay here. The only negative I have is there’s no coffee in the room.

Cleanliness and staff. A little expensive for the location and amenities

Unable to turn thermostat down. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Shower leaked and soaked bathroom floor. First night I changed rooms because of road noise. Would not pay rack rate and is not 4.5*.

10/10, Highly recommend. The amenites are amazing, and they even had a complimentary happy hour each day! The staff were super nice and helpful, will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay, great staff also

The property and hotel amenities are nice. The hotel is close to Vanderbilt and walkable to lots of restaurants. However, the valet was understaff and took 30+ minutes to get cars throughout the weekend. The hotel staff kept saying it’s a separate company and took no responsibility for the valet being slow and understaffed but it is affecting people who choose to stay with Kimpton and Kimpton contracted with the valet service.

Our only challenge was navigating the self parking validation, but that was a user error. Apparently the sticker is to be placed on the garage parking attendant. The front desk was very accommodating and placed us on the 7th floor so we could be near the pet relief station. All in all, and excellent stay

Great location. Solid gym for this level hotel. Staff friendly. We were there at a very busy time (Vanderbilt move-in), but room cleaning was very slow, and in our suite, they cleaned one room but not the other. There were no blankets for pullout sofa. Elevator broke. Would give it another shot at a less hectic time!
