Motif on Nashville's Music Row

I was driving, so I didn't click all the links sent and was surprised at the $54 valet fee for 1 night. The studio was nice, clean, and comfortable, but the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. The 1 cup coffee maker didn't work. HOWEVER, We were just a few blocks from rows of establishments featuring live music and liquid libations. We walked there and back easily and had a wonderful evening.

We had such a great stay at this hotel, great pool, apartment was clean and just what we needed. Lovely location, would definitely recommend.

This was my second time at this hotel. It’s beautiful accommodating smells lovely close to the downtown bars and restaurants. You basically have a full apartment and even a washer and dryer. Don’t think you’re gonna find that in many places better than just a room and a bathroom definitely it’s more like a home.

I was charged a different price than expedia gave me and it said pay at property but they already charged me a deposit. not cool. Expedia said pay at property , hotel charged anyways a few days a portion of it. so bad to expedia and Motif for that. I also had Motif charge me a slightly different price than expedia that included all taxes and fees. Motif tried to tell me there was a daily charge ( small ) but still not cool as expedia said all fees inc. Did they correct it at end because I showed them the price on paper with reservation ? YES but had to ask, still not cool. Now the room... Nice apartment like room. The kitchen sink faucette was loose and wobbled every direction. No biggie I guess. Cleaning crew left refrigerator outside wiped clean but swirls of marks and dirty looking. I like the place. I will wait until I see final charges to make sure and then if it doesnt match expedia I will dispute it with charge card but they could have at least offerred me something for the trouble like a night free and I would rebook here in future. Staff was very nice! 5 star for that. 4 star for hotel and 2-3 star for the trouble. I will update after I get final charges on my card to see. If so then a 4 star update

The room was clean, but we found some debris between the couch cushions (coins, lighter, hair tie). The pool could have certainly used a cleaning, but we really enjoyed the ambiance regardless. Staff was helpful! The shuttle to Broadway was also extremely useful, though we didn't know we were being charged a $5/day amenity fee. Worth it, but would have been nice to have a heads-up on that. Overall, would stay here again!

The hotel was clean and easy to get to.

Motif has a fabulous location with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the gulch and broadway No windows in the bedrooms

We didn’t even stay due to some last minute incidentals charge, they actually owe me a night! I tried to reach out to Expedia and they lied about what happened.

I chose this hotel because the reviews said it was clean but I did not find it to be very clean, there was hair in the tub, coffee maker was dirty, carpet was dirty, etc... the front desk staff were hit or miss. Half of them were very nice and helpful but the other half were not.

Neighborhood is quiet and you are 10 months from everything you will want to do Not so great: The valet is expensive and each time I had to get my car it was multiple steps to get it. Because they have hard wood floors you can sometime hear the other patrons above you walking. No water in the first floor shop. And it’s not near any stores so you will have to Uber Eats any food or incidentals as they have limited offerings in their “store”.
