Loove the cleaning staff. They were super friendly and helpful.

Great location for getting around. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower had fantastic water pressure. Our room had a view of the Hudson River and Broadway. Breakfast offered in the lobby area was basic continental but there are multiple breakfast places a short walk from the hotel.

The "included" breakfast has limited options. But nice to be able to get a coffee on-site. Only thing I missed was having a mini-fridge.

This is a well-designed hotel on the Upper West Side, a great place to stay when visiting NYC. The surrounding area is residential and has excellent subway, and has access to all of NYC as well as many cafes, restaurants and various ice cream shops/bakeries, not to mention Central Park, Riverside Park, Lincoln Center, Museum of Natural History, Beacon Theater and many other cultural icons. The standard room is comfortable with all amenities. The lobby is comfortable and well-appointed with various sitting areas. My only complaint is the breakfast cafe where they don't clean up the tables after use, and when I asked, they simply wiped the croissant crumbs on the floor! It's a benefit to have a cafe on site but it needs to be better managed and considerate of the many hotel guests using it.
