The location is perfect. My room overlooked Riverside Park. What could be better? The room was clean, which is my most important parameter. It was a bit "cozier" than anticipated, but by the second night I had adapted. I think I would have had trouble if I had had more than a carry on, though.

The hotel is near a subway station with easy access to downtown Manhatten. The staff was ok and polite. As a base for sleep and going out activities it was fine and quiet. It gave good value for money. The room is very very !! Small. It is hard to move inside, with two suitcases. Unlike it's name, we had no river view. The river is not so close, either.

We stay in the penthouse and it was a great value for money. Great space for 4 adults (quite rare in NYC), with amazing views.

So happy to find a well-priced hotel that was so attractive, clean and cozy. And really loved the river view. Truly made the stay a pleasure. Miss having in-room coffee maker

The location is great, and it's nice they have a common area in the lounge with a fridge and a microwave since there aren't those things in the room. The front desk staff was very friendly. They only do housekeeping every other day, so if you want housekeeping services you have to put a sign on the door. We left our room at around 11:30AM and returned at 6PM, but even though we left the sign out that we wanted housekeeping our room did not get cleaned. Also, the AC ran either super hot or super cold for such a small space.

Location is terrific next to Riverside Park, and the hotel is very clean and nicely laid out. My room was tiny but I expected that (I had read the reviews) and it had high ceilings (didn't feel like a box) so I was fine with it. Everything in the room was lovely - super comfy bed (better than mine at home), bathroom looked brand-new, the window in the room was large and looked out on Riverside Drive and the park. Note that the bathroom sink (which also looked brand-new) was actually in the bedroom, next to the bathroom door, similar to a lot of European hotels and guesthouses. Actually v practical. I would definitely stay here again. There was a ceiling tile above the sink that was hanging down, which was a bit disconcerting. The very bright bathroom light was a motion-sensor that went on automatically, which was rather painful when I got up to use the loo in the middle of the night. Noise from the hallway was loud.

Staff were polite and helpful. Ice machine on basement floor was a great touch as I like my drinks super cold and no fridge in the room. Bed was really comfy and shower was lovely. Of course the rooms are small but I had two large suitcases and made it work. Just have to be smart about how you store your belongings. The drawers under the beds were so helpful. The noise from the elevators was a little annoying when trying to sleep but it’s expected in a small hotel when all rooms are near the elevator. Air conditioning a little noisy.

Convenient location close to restos, subway, Central Park and great for walking around. New and fresh furniture and design. Accommodating staff. Lack of insulation, could hear neighbors and plumbing next door loud and clear.

No breakfast but they had coffee and tea and a fridge available for your leftovers. Hotel was exactly what I expected, great place.
