Club Quarters Hotel Grand Central, New York

We did have an issue with water leaking from the AC in our room, but the staff handled it immediately and moved us to a new room without any hassle. We really appreciated how quickly and professionally they took care of the situation. One of our favorite little touches was the complimentary cold, filtered water. It was so nice to be able to refill our water bottles whenever we needed. Overall, a great location, comfortable stay, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again when visiting New York City!

Quirky but decent hotel. The rooms are starting to look a little dated but still have some life left. The table that is bolted to the floor is not the greatest idea in Manhattan, where space is at a premium. Especially given the fact that the rooftop lounge is large and a lot more comfortable. The common areas are in very good shape. My first room was on a higher floor. This was good, until I realized the elevator was chronically making squeaking noises. Thankfully I was able to move to a lower floor and the problem got solved. Staff was definitely attentive.

This property is in an exceptionally good location. Grand central station is 5 mins walk away. The room was a good size. Our room didn’t have a fridge.

Hotel with modern facilities and a rooftop offering a beautiful view. A very unpleasant incident occurred during our stay. A hotel staff member called us and then, when we didn't answer, knocked on our door in the middle of the night while we were already asleep. I found this completely outrageous; I have never experienced anything like it at any place I’ve stayed. At the time, I was terrified and felt very unsafe. My husband answered the door, and the man claimed he just wanted to check if there was anyone in the room. To this day, we still don't understand the real reason for disturbing us at that hour—it was past midnight. I am pregnant, and I couldn't sleep properly after that. In the morning, we stopped by the front desk to ask if this was standard hotel procedure; the receptionist said she knew nothing about it, apologized, and promised to look into the matter, but we have received no follow-up from the hotel so far. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone; after all, the bare minimum expectation when booking a hotel is being able to sleep peacefully through the night, which wasn't possible in my case.

The amenities were amazing! Snacks were so good, and the little closet of things we may have forgotten saved us! Air conditioning was freezing (which was fantastic)! We came last minute from an issue with a different hotel and I couldn’t be happier with our choice! Definitely coming back whenever we’re back in midtown.

We love staying at club quarters. So close to Grand Central. Always clean with the best sheets and pillows. The room is cold during the summer. So great!!!
