Hotel Boutique at Grand Central

Room is very nice, bed is comfortable and very convenient with the room key on google wallet. If I have a chance to visit New York again, I definitely stay here again for sure.

Nice hotel in a good location.

I booked this room for my daughter and didn’t see the policy about being over 21 to check in. The front desk lady and the manager were still so kind to my daughter. They gave her access to the lounge and some refreshments so they could have a safe place to relax while fixing the booking. They were kind enough to double check if they could make an exception and we understood they couldn’t. They even gave us their name so we could verify with Expedia that they were allowing a full refund of the stay even though we booked a nonrefundable room. It gave me so much peace of mind that they were in a safe space. The customer service was excellent!!!

I have made a formal complaint, but am yet to receive a response.

Clean room

Office space on the top floor is perfect for work trips. Rooms are always clean, staff helpful, perfect location. A/C units can be noisy, but otherwise this is a great hotel so long as you know your room is going to be small.

Would stay again

Unfortunately, this hotel does not look like the photos at all. The pictures are misleading and make the property appear much nicer than it actually is. I would not have booked it if the photos had accurately represented the hotel.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times now. We love how close it is to Grand Central, as we take the train in from CT. The check in process is always quick, and the staff has always been very friendly. We appreciate the amenity of the water bottles on each floor, especially in the hot months. The rooms are always immaculate, equipped with plenty of towels and other toiletries. It’s incredibly easy to take the local trains, as the area is right in Midtown. We’ve stayed at other hotels, since we’re frequent visitors of Manhattan, but always come back to this one! Also, the rooftop is a bonus!

The fact their pictures look nothing like their rooms is completely deceiving. Showing that a room has a couch and when you get there you have only a bed where you can touch both walls because the room is so small is outright lying. I based my selection for this Proeprty based on what I thought I was getting and to see something that isn’t even close to the room is wrong. I will challenge my charges on my credit card.

This is a great hotel and location, right next to Grand central station! Easy to walk to Times Square. We were welcomed by Manny who quickly got us checked in and up to our room. The room was pristine and had diverse snack options ($). Loved the purified water station that also had free water bottles to fill up. A nice rooftop area with free espresso or hot tea, even sparkling water. This will be our go-to next time we are in the city. Thank you!

Great location clean room and very good staff

Just a small tip for future guests: I recommend signing up for the hotel’s loyalty program before your stay. I missed out on several free nights because I wasn’t aware that I needed to be enrolled. It’s definitely worth considering for future visits.
