The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient, and the lounge on the 27th floor was real nice. The hotel itself felt dated and somewhat tired, with my room clearly having seen better days. Given the price, I expected a more modern and better-maintained room. While the location and staff were good, the overall standard did not really justify the rate.

Excellent location and room was clean, comfortable and a very good size for NYC! Had a microwave & fridge for those leftovers! Water dispenser to fill your water bottle on each floor. I was given a room on second floor close to the street noise and light. No view.

Good bed with clean sheets! The pump of shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion is not good, but the products are good!

Hotel staff provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and we loved the rooftop terrace, along with the proximity to shopping!

In 40 years of global business & leisure travel, we have never experienced ruder, more insolent & condescending reception staff. The young woman at check-in was exceptionally rude, snappy, condescending & nasty. She was more interested in sitting in the back room gossiping, than helping the line of guests waiting to check-in. When she finally condescended to get up & come to the desk she acted like she was doing the guests a huge favor by allowing them to stay at her hotel. Check-in was at 3pm, & not one of the 8 waiting guests' rooms was ready at 2.45pm. When asked when they would be ready, she said she had no idea. She instructed all guests to go up to the top floor lounge to wait. They said they would call the lounge when the rooms were ready. We called at 3.30pm & she snapped that the rooms weren't ready. We called again at 4pm. Same rude answer. Finally, when we called at 4.30pm the room was ready. She never called any of the waiting guests. Her excuse to us was that the previous guest had paid extra to stay well past the 12pm check-out time. We finally walked into our small room at 4.45pm. having wasted 2 hours waiting for our room. Every time we walked past the tiny reception area over those 2 days, we noticed she was always in the back room chatting with her colleagues, ignoring the guests waiting for her at the front desk. This woman really should not be in the customer service profession. All the guests seemed annoyed. I'll never stay here again.

the hotel was well below my expectations. i would not stay there again. the WIFI was very bad, and the staff didn't seem to care. the elevators are slow to arrive, and the room is the smallest i have been in - in years.

Great stay and the staff were super helpful. Love the reusable water bottles and filling stations. Great location too!
