Fitzpatrick Grand Central

Wonderful small hotel and close to Grand Central.

Location and quietness No mini fridge, no bottle of water as a courtesy, bad coffee

The location is fantastic. The room was spacious. But, the bed itself was a bit tired in the middle, and the noise from the bar filtered all the way up to the 9th floor. Also, be advised that there was a $35 resort fee per night. I couldn't tell you what that got us.

Excellent location made it easy to get to any part of the city; beautiful older building. Exceeded expectations

Aging. Dark. Zero amenities. Not much of a usable lounge area for reading or working. Loud bar in coutyard.

Cons: Very dated decor, location, no complimentary drinking water

clean, bar man was friendly, staff professional Staff not particularly friendly, no water or anything in my room suite, asked at front desk and informed to go to bar and buy water, shower pressure was weak, for the price I expected some effort. Breakfast was ok. The hotel pictures do not reflect the place accurately, overall, I was disappointed and would not stay there again.

Great staff and service, clean rooms, nice bar/restaurant, so conveniently located!

The room was dated and had a bit of wear and tear. The bigger issue is that it was facing the outdoor bar and not well sound proofed so it was loud until 11:30.

The Pub has a good variety of options on its menu and the food is well prepared. Very convenient for the tired traveller! The mattress or maybe just the mattress topper is very very soft, not much support. The room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. Thank you!

Location and the size of the hotel Rooms were very dark

Location and staff. The room's window faces a brick wall light shaft with stairwell windows whose lights stayed on all night. The blackout inner curtains were partially broken letting in light from the stairwells outside forcing me to improvise my boot holding it closed. The AC unit ceased working from 2 am until 7 am while the bathroom heat appeared to turn on leaving the sink countertop at 81 degrees when I left in the morning. Long hot largely sleepless night.
