Hyatt Grand Central New York

Excellent location and very pleasant staff

When we checked out, they lost our car and it took them half a day to bring it back. Because of this delay, I missed a concert that I had already purchased tickets for.

The lobby is nice, but for some reason it's always mobbed with people, and our room is quite nice as well. It's bigger than I expected for midtown Manhattan. The $45 fee seems pretty scammy, considering you get a $15 hotel credit that expires at midnight your first day, and I'm not sure about anything else that the fee covers. Certainly nothing worth the 30 extra dollars. Finally, the thermostat on the room was set at 65, but it was definitely 10° warmer than that in the room all night.

I’m requesting a refund. My bathroom had mold and room was dirty. I have pictures.

Convenient location next to train station

In town for JayZ concert. Easy travel to Yankee stadium. Clean, a bit dim inside. Would book again

Stay was great. Room was spacious and had a great view

care kits like shower cap, & Qtips. The location and price were hard to beat and if I book again I will have to remember to bring my own washcloths and vanity items. The restaurant bar is a bit intimidating. I personally found the decor a bit aggressive but the staff was fantastic. The bar guys all deserve a raise.

Hotel staff was amazing this hotel made out stay a wonderful experience being so close to everything. Definitely recommend this hotel for its location, staff and overall experience.

Beautiful lobby. Convenient location with a direct tunnel to get to Grand Central Terminal for subway. We were able to get checked in right away and rooms were clean.

Loved room and staff . Location was perfect not too far of a walk time square and grand central station is right next door to us super convenient.

Overall very good. Room didn’t have a microwave though. Room was compact but considering it’s in New York, NY it’s understandable. The best part is it’s vey close to the Grand Central terminal, I-2 min walk.

The room was clean, cozy, and spacious! I loved that I got housekeeping every day with refreshed towels and cleaned floors. The elevator system worked really smoothly too.

The staff were very helpful and quick to offer solutions when a couple of problems presented themselves. However, there should be more detail and attention paid to certain things in the rooms. The AC vent in my room had dust all over it from what must have been months of not being dusted. And both of the light switches beside the bed did not work. I wish someone would check into these things when they clean the rooms or maybe have someone walk through the rooms sometimes. The phone line in the room didn't work once and it was an inconvenience to wait in line at the front desk to try and speak to someone about them. I appreciated the staff and their service, however, the maintenance should be more frequent.
