Great hotel, stayed there for 3 nights, very central, accessible to all areas. Clean, helpful, quiet...I would stay again.

I have to mention Abigail in reception. I can't thank her enough for letting us have our rooms much earlier than check in time for no extra cost. We'd arrived on an overnight flight from LA and were completely shattered. She was amazing. She was friendly, considerate and kind. Everything you wish a customer facing professional to be. The room itself was perfect. Big but homely with essential amenities. The lounge on level 2 was always open to guest and stocked with cold water, fruits and croissants as well as coffee and tea. Check out is at 1pm and the hotel will keep the luggage for you after checkout and help with taxis

The location of this hotel was great, with a lot of sites within walking distance and close to grand central train station to be able to take the subway to sites further afield. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly with storing our luggage. The 2nd floor amenities offering water, pop and snacks was a nice addition and super convenient. The rooftop bar was lovely. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and overall quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff (front desk ) to the bell stand attendant are so friendly and helpful. We check in and immediately go up to rooftop bar. Great cocktails and food. Love the space up there. We got an upgrade with a small charge. Worth it. The rooms are a good size for a NY hotel. Sometimes boutique hotel rooms are so small. It is so convenient from Grand Central and a great 1/2 location for uptown downtown spots. 1 suggestion is they need to work on the Madison and Vine breakfast service. Food is delicious but service is slow and not sure if its a Sunday morning not enough staff thing, but this is the 2nd time we did breakfast there and there was tops 7 people in the restaurant including us and it took a long time. Only criticism. But honestly, will not stop us from going a third time because the food was really good. Will be back soon.

The concierge level, restaurant, and rooftop were all great benefits of staying at this hotel.

Great location, helpful staff, and many books to choose from.

Lovely hotel with a library room with refreshments as well as a roof top bar. My room was one of the smaller ones, and therefore cheaper, but plenty big enough for what I needed. A very comfy bed and welcome aircon. Close enough to things but far enough away to be quiet inside. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

The staff was extremely helpful, polite and went out of their way to help us. We were having trouble getting a cab, I believe his name was Oscar, went out into the pouring rain to hail us a cab. The library room on the second floor was a great spot to hang out and have some snacks and refreshments. The room was very quaint, clean and comfortable. We had a free breakfast in the restaurant, this was a nice sit down with wait staff and full menu, not a continental spread. They did offer fruit and other items in the library also. The entire experience was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

I would highly recommend the Library Hotel to my friends and anyone looking to travel to NYC to check out the sites!

Nice location and unique property. Wish the outside of the building wasn't covered up with scaffolding. While having breakfast, our waiter gave us incorrect information and we were made to pay for his mistake.

Loved that this Hotel had a Doorman! Friendly staff, clean room and comfy bed .. rooftop terrace a plus !

Very fun hotel in a good neighborhood close to Public Library and Grand Central station. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The sitting/living room was a wonderful place to sit,read,and enjoy coffee and snacks. We will return.
