Pestana Park Avenue

Property is clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet too for being in Manhattan. Staff were friendly and helpful, accommodated a slightly early check in and held luggage for a brief period. High ratings are legitimate and well deserved. Would stay here again.

The stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff was super friendly and was able to offer early check-in as well as to keep our luggage after check out. The room was very clean and has everything we needed. Location was close to the subway station and lots of sightseeing spots! Certainly a 10/10 experience.

Parking was fairly seamless. It was $50 for 24h at a lot that was just a block over.

WiFi slow

Great location with beautiful, updated rooms. Nice community kitchen on first floor with coffee, tea and water. Felt like a cute boutique hotel with a reasonable rate.

Location, proximity to all attractions and subway Room was small.

The air conditioning was loud and wouldn’t shut off, we had to ask for a different room

Our stay was great! The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was the parking. When booking this room with Expedia it said there was on site parking. That is not true. They have a parking garage across the road that cost $50 every time you remove your car.

The Pestana is a great budget option in New York near Grand Central. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and I appreciated the sachets of lavender they left on the bed. I'd definitely stay here again, as I travel a lot and hotel prices add up! :)

It was clean and thats probably the best part about this hotel. It was located in a very convenient location. No obvious or clear concern not to like it. Not amazing, but not bad. Pricey a bit to be honest though. If you keep looking for deals you can find something better I beleive. Room was was really bad. I mean super small. Good thing that the hotel was clean and thats probably why you will stay there. Nothing extraordinary happens for the lobby either. Its no frills place. If you get pricier and larger room on the upper floor you might get a winner, but it probably will command way higher price.

very small rooms

Good size queen bed room. Free fresh coffee and pastries and very nice front staff. Centrally located.

The room was clean but rather small (which I was aware of before my stay). Complimentary coffee etc was a nice gesture in the area behind reception but it was a shame that the coffeee machine was out of action for two days of my four day stay. The hotel is in a good position for the Grand Central railway station and Times Square is oinly a 20 minute walk away.

We had a great stay, highly recommended
