The Renwick

Perfect location It’s been the 4th or 5th time I stayed at the Renwick. I like the location and the staff is helpful and friendly but you see the rooms and facilities show a signs of wear and tear, every time a little bit more. It could do with a lick of paint here and there, some lights, electric sockets and wiring could be redone etc. It’s still a good hotel but for me it has dropped from 5 to 4 stars this year (and I want to be clear, it’s not because of the staff, they are great)

Exhaust fans in bathrooms are much needed

Great staff throughout our 6 night stay. Fantastic bar on the ground floor off the lobby, atmospheric and inviting at anytime of day.

Convenient location 4 min from grand central

The staff were all helpful and friendly too.

Excellent location for me - close to the trains and easy walk to interests. Rooms are a little bigger than your standard nyc hotel This is a great hotel, very little to complain about but would like the option to have breakfast included via booking.com (you can only do inclusive breakfast if you book direct with them)

Gave us time to explore NY without bags. Elevators were a bit slow, but manageable.

Great location to commute to the US Open. Shower was great, but the bed and room were just standard. Nothing special.

The bar downstairs had rotating DJ's but I never heard the sound on the 8th floor. I would definitely stay here again.

In this case, we were offered early check-in for an additional $75, which we agreed to pay. While we understand that this may be the hotel's policy, we found the charge somewhat disappointing and felt it was an unnecessary additional expense. It was a relatively small matter, but it did affect our overall impression of the hotel and, unfortunately, may make us less likely to return.

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower, well-located, friendly staff.

No microwave fyi, encase you want to bring food back with you.

This place was fantastic! The hotel is perfectly located with a lovely vibe. I was very lucky to have been given a room upgrade on arrival thanks to Judy who was simply exceptional on the front desk - and it did not disappoint, spacious, a bath tub and a view of the Empire State Building! The room was clean, and the housekeeping always completed well each day! Friendly and helpful staff where nothing is too much and always on hand. Already looking to come back!

Sweet staff, regular cleaning, spacious rooms, great location (next to food carts, convenience shop, $3 coffees, 5th ave!) AC sometimes gets puts on when out of the room during cleaning/temperamental
