Corona Hotel

We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. However, the vending machine did not work properly and failed to refund the money after an unsuccessful purchase. Overall, it was a good experience, but the vending machine issue needs to be addressed.

I had an amazing experience with this hotel, checking in was so smooth and even the let me get in earlier than 3pm that was awesome, thank you guys

Bad smell everwhere inside the property.

The hotel is adjacent to an elevated railway. They sound-proofed the rooms but if you are a light sleeper you will frequently hear the L passing by.

The room itself was clean and comfortable Outside the hotel didn’t seem that safe, and the common spaces in the hotel were not warm, welcoming or comfortable

Superb

This hotel is a clean no frills hotel. It is situated next to the elevated 7 line, about a block away from the 111th street station. Staff was helpful.

I stayed there for three nights. A great strength is that it is one block from the subway station. It is convenient to either go to Flushing and Manhattan. The room is kind of old and with a smoking smell. The service is nothing. No breakfast is provided. It has an onsite limited parking. The convenience and the affordable price are unbeatable.

The noise from the train. The bed spring would pop and make noise randomly. They missed cleaning my room one day.

The walls and ceiling have weird stains, the halls always either smell like substances or the chemicals they use to hide those other smells, and if you have to go to the lobby at night you're gonna encounter some uncomfortable characters. It also wasn't a problem for me but you may have a hard time shopping nearby if you can't speak Spanish.

One thing missing was no small refrigerator in the room. the room itself was plenty big and the bed comfortable. The rest room and towles all very good. No breakfest in the morning, but the coffee machine was on 24-7. -but never had any cream or dry creamer. I liked being in a below ground roon, but ice/beverages were on the 3rd floor. Oh, they had safe parking, too. I would use them again.

The staff were very helpful, made it easy to store bags before we left for airport late in the day and got us checked in early - that was so helpful given we flew the red eye. Location is absolutely perfect for a Mets game or the US Open. Will stay there again.

The hotel looks like its been fixed up lately. Price was good and included parking. It was walking distance to Mets game and 10 minutes to the airport. We were in the back so the subway didn't bother us the 6 hrs we slept there. The problem was with the bed, I like a firm mattress so that was good but the sheets didn't fit the bed, my husband's feet were on the mattress pad not the sheet and they were the worst pillows I've ever had, it felt like hard mounds in the pillowcase.

Clean room, friendly staff. No listing of local eateries.
