Corona Hotel

The building is prewar so it is what it is. The cleaning personnel did a good job but the smell of the air freshener is off-putting. You can hear the train pass every 5mins. There is only one elevator and it is kinda slow so prepare to use the stairs. The mattress is, for lack of a better word, very basic. Free breakfast is coffee/tea. There is free parking although it has to be said, you have to be a good driver to successfully clear the narrow entryway.

Nos dieron una habitación en el sótano junto a la recepción que al momento que llegan huéspedes se escucha todo mucho ruido, luego las tarjetas de entrada siempre fallaban y el de la recepción me dijo que tenía que intentar una y otra vez hasta que abriese la cerradura la habitación nos hicieron la limpieza un solo día y me hospedé por 4 noches no nos brindaron toallas ni nada en tanto al internet muy malo nose si era por que estaba en el sótano o nose pero no tenía señal la TV solo tenía canales pagados. Y los canales locales no los tenía. De. Redas está fue una de las veces que peor atención me an brindado me he hospedado anterior mente y pues el servicio era diferente pero ahora no muy mala atención y serivicio

It’s close to LaGuardia, so if you just need a room prior to a flight, it’s good. The street outside is also interesting with street food vendors and multiple ethnic food options. The beds were hard and the room was dated, but you aren’t staying here for vacation. It’s fine for one night before a flight.

Not all rooms got smart tv. Not all rooms got a good tv or remote. Parking is first come first serve. The staff can be more helpful but they dont try to accommodate guests with their needs. The house keeping service is delayed, when we asked for fresh clean towels, it took them 30 mins to bring it up, we had to call remind them. The housekeeper was on a private phone call while working. The floors are not being swept and tubs are not being scrubbed. There is always construction waking us up around 7am before we even get to wake up for checkout. Construction workers take parking spots at times.

I ate up the cost of this hotel because I was nervous for my safety and did not feel like potentially getting bed bugs or any other sort of disease/infection. Absolutely stay away

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful ,, I will stay at this hotel again , it was very close to the 7 train station and Citifeild

The hotel lobby and halls were not very clean. Water pressure was terrible and I had to kneel down and sponge bath be cause the water was cold. After a long time it did finally get warm. The subway train ran almost directly above the motel and was very loud about every five minutes. There also was no refrigerator. Other than that it was great.

Parking was not available because of construction. Television set was terrible. No fridge. Shower would not get hot.

Card keys didn't work most of the time!!!

I found this hotel to be better for my tastes and needs than another one I was in the night before. However, they advertise "free breakfast," but all they had was coffee and tea, and a microwave. All in all, I would stay there again. Staff were kind and friendly.

This place is a dump. Do not stay here. The elevated subway was right outside our window. Noise all night. The room was a smoking room. Hallways blocked with storage. The neighborhood was dicey. Construction everywhere. They don’t call the area Flushing Meadows for no reason. We wouldn’t stay here again if it was free.

It was close to the airport and graduation I was attending. It was very old and outdated, it smelled funny and the neighborhood seemed sketchy.

This hotel was under construction. Let me tell you the moment we checked in and went to our room nothing but loud noises. Almost sounded like you were in a dentist office with a very big drill and grinder. We thought we would relax for a few hrs before heading out. We would of done that we would off gotten a huge headache. We left soon after we checked in. The room was ok. The subway tracks are right near by on steal beems. So you constantly heard the subway going through all hrs. Rooms need an upgrade. No refrigerator. You had to wait at least 5 mins before the hot water in the shower was even warm enough to take a shower. Then it was barely warm. Had no body wash. Had to use shampoo. We got back to our room around 11. Stayed up a little watching TV. Check out was at 11. So we figured take our time taking showers and getting ready and just relaxing a little before we headed out. OH HECK NO!!! We were up showered and checked out by 815. This wonderful construction dentist office sound started at 715am. Yes you read that 715am!!! It was the most horrific stay at any hotels that we've been in..and we stay at least 6-10 hotels a year. Give or take. NO WHERE on anysites this one hotel.com the actual hotel itself mentioned any type of construction going on. And it seems its going to be A LONG LONG TIME before they are done. If i would of known i could of gotten any trype of refund. We definitely would have not stayed. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

Close to Citi field wish I knew the subway was 5 feet from the bedroom window.

I have been charged for free breakfast but breakfast was not provided . Furniture at room was outdated. Noise pollution due to construction work . Staff was rude . Out dated furniture, breakfast commitment , noise pollution
