Few of us sat in the back, in the lobby behind elevators chit chatting and the staff mentioned that it is closed. We just needed a bigger table to sit for 6 of us and we sat there. That area wasn't being used for anything at that time, it was around 9 or 10pm. The staff at the coffee bar in the morning wasn't always present. Also, I expected americano that I ordered from an espresso machine, not from the same type of machine that I could get it from near the vending machine.

Rooms are small but cozy. Hotel is close to several subway terminals and a 10min walk from the piers on either side. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is also away from the city buzz which makes sleeping much easier from busier parts of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and the staff was very friendly. Small rooms but that is Manhattan unless you pay for a suite. No lotion automatically in the room was a bummer but otherwise great option that is close to the trains

This hotel is fine. I don’t think it is as nice as the ratings on here make you believe though. The rooms feel a bit dated and incredibly small. We switched rooms once because it smelled so musty in one. Noise travels a lot in this hotel vs others I’ve stayed in. It is fine if you’re in a pinch but not my first choice.
