Tribeca Hotel FiDi

Place is great. Old industrial building converted. Room was giant. Staff was kind. Great value for the money

We were moved from out first room due to a fire alarm issue, and on the morning of our second day the whole building fire alarm went off (the staff said it was a false alarm). Room furnishing was very sparse (only one chair) and the hairdryer in the bathroom was poorly attached to the wall, and fell off on our last day. It was a budget hotel, so we got what we paid for, but there's a limit to that.

I would definitely recommend confirming the room type and location directly with the hotel before booking through Expedia, especially if the room view or floor matters to you.

It’s a basic yet very functional hotel in lower Manhattan, abd reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The hotel isn’t fancy, but for budget travelers it’s the best deal in Manhattan I’ve ever had.

Wonderful staff, room and experience. The balcony, tv, bed and ac all worked wonderfully. House keeping on a daily and overall an excellent experience. I would definitely come back if we are in the area again. Worth the money. In regard to the concrete floors, the hotel offers slippers so that was very useful and helpful. Thank you for the experience and having us.

The staff at the hotel were so helpful. Our train didn’t leave until late the day we checked out and they were so helpful by keeping our luggage all day. They were so friendly and helpful!

Very Good

It did the job, its rustic, like warehouse type industrial vibe but rooms are huge with cement floors, no carpet. Its right by subway so its great as a homebase for NYC travel

They accepted me and the room was okay, it was very dark and the floor was slippery and the floor was uneven.

If you are looking for a place just for a night, it is not bad, but for an extended stay might be a lot. Took us 2 hours to get clean towels after asking for them. There was old food still on the floor in our room. The handle to the door from the outside balcony was not there, so you could easily get locked out from the outside. The shower in our room, the water would hardly drain and took almost all night for it to all go down. The only benefit to this hotel was saving money from all the other expensive hotels in the area and it is close to all the trains needed to go to other parts of the city. Also, upon arrival we were early, and they had us drop our bags off in a back hallway that was not locked and told us just to take pictures of our bags before we left. Luckily nothing was stolen or taken, but all things to be weary of if you plan on staying at this hotel.

The only issue with the room was the floor, which was concrete and just felt weird. Great location and staff helpful and friendly.

Basic

Tribeca Fidi Hotel gives you a large room with king size bed, shower, kitchen, hot water brewer AC,Heat and it's got a modest size which is comfortable in an era of super tall hotels. Did I mention location. Perfectly situated near 1 train and 4,5 and R,W trains and Whole Foods. It's a great place if you don't want extravagance but prefer a nice space. Great staff, seems like one big family.

Clean room, good AC and great location. Is it fancy? No but it does have character. It was great for one night after my flight being cancelled and having to have a hotel last minute

Very small room for the price, could use a bathmat for floor when showering, but okay for short stay.
