Doxie Hotel

Great location! Few minutes walk from MSG, Penn Station, Times Square and next to delicious late night pizza slices. Clean and compact, friendly and helpful staff and they will store your baggage if you arrive early or don't leave until late.

Passable

It was a great place to stay in a pinch for harry styles concert. Super cheap. You get what you pay for. Rooms were decently clean. The rest of the place was dingy and not a 5 star hotel by any means. You get what you pay for! The location could not be better. The hotel is dog theme.

Cleanliness, good size room and bathroom. Central location. Dated and noisy Air con, old windows. You can hear very well the street noise and traffic.

The Doxie Hotel was a perfect stay for our one night stay. We went to see a concert at MSG and it was a quick 10 minute walk. It is also surrounded by many options of good eats. The room was clean & comfortable. The only downside for us was the window not being able to close fully because of the AC unit, I can sleep find with noise but my mom struggled to stay asleep through the night. Other than that, it was great and I will consider it for future stays.

Location, Location

Location excellent, short walk from Penn St station which was a good hub and lots to see in the immediate area.

Cute small and served its purpose

Good location, close to MSG and Penn Station. We got an upgrade to a 4 person room which was nice. Room was on the small side but so are most hotel rooms in NYC and we were just there to sleep 1 night so it was as not a big deal. Room was clean and beds and bedding were very comfortable, toiletries provided were good. A main issue I had was there was only 1 lock on the hotel door and no latch from the inside lock. Being as it was just my daughter and I staying there, this made me a bit nervous. We ended up pushing a chair and our luggage in front of the door, not that that would have made a big difference if someone were to try and enter our room with a key card. Overall, we had a nice 1 night stay and would consider staying again.

Location is the only thing that this place has working for it. Everything else is shit. The lift stinks, the towels have hair on them, the air conditioner is LOUD, toilets aren't clean, and a bit of a chemical cleaner stink in the room. I stayed here during the UNGA and climate week events which meant I paid over a 1000 for two nights. It was not worth it, I should have paid 700 more and stayed at the Hilton near Empire State.

The room we had with 2 twin beds was small but clean & the beds were extremely comfortable!! Our only complaints were not having the AC on before we got there on such a hot day making the room extremely hot. Also the shower didn't have a door which was awkward.

Great location. Perfect for sleeping at night. Not enough room to stay inside the room during the day and perfect for spending the days and nights out in the city. Very friendly and helpful staff all around.Clean rooms.

Just needed openable windows.
