Courtyard New York Manhattan/Times Square West

I am not sure what "normal" is in Manhattan, but right outside of the front door were people smoking crack or meth. There were 6-7 characters involved. We saw them daily. I never felt in danger. However, it was unsettling and it was sad.

Stay was nice, clean and convenient

breakfast was not as pictured- very limited options. parking is not included- there is a valet you have to pay 90 dollars for. there is parking down the road in a garage. the staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. good location, right at the center of multiple NYC areas.

Excellent location. Close to Times Square and Penn Station subway stations gets you anywhere you want to go. A couple of minor opportunities to improve. On site cafe was only open for breakfast although indicating they had a bar on site. We had a family of 4 staying in a room with 2 queen beds. Room and beds good. Housekeeping consistently only left 3 bath towels when making up the room. Should be one towel per guest. Also, housekeeping once came into the room when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. Otherwise, enjoyable stay.

My only suggestion would be to have a microwave available for guests, as the bistro downstairs was always closed during my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay everything was clean

Very clean and up to date rooms. The rooms are smaller but on par with most in the city. Great location for events at MSG. Would highly recommend esp for those who value clean/modern rooms.

We stayed two nights . The hotel was very clean and easy access to all midtown. The room was very clean and comfortable. Average sized room for midtown but felt safe and comfortable .

We only stayed one night. Everyone was friendly and the rooms were clean, beds were comfy too.

Great location. Best of all, the hotel is nice and quiet. Close to all trains, which makes getting around the city quite easy.

Clean hotel great location.

Check-in smooth, room clean. But took a while to pickup checked luggage - the only staff working on luggage was busy, but two front desk staff doing nothing and kept customer waiting bit strange

Nice overnight stay with the family! Property was clean, staff was super friendly! The front door man was very kind & very helpful!!

The location is good, you can walk to Time Square & 5th Ave.

I like that staff remembers me upon check-in from previous stays while not making over-the-top acknowledgements of me upon entering the building for my return visits. I also like that the hotel has a laundry room.
