Front desk and housekeeping staff very accommodating and friendly.

Good location, cleaned the room every day, fast elevators, two cups of free coffee everyday, and friendly staff. Enjoyed three nights without any issues.

Staff was great! We arrived in the morning and they held our bags so we could venture out into the city until our room was ready. Even then, our room was ready 2 hours before normal check-in time. Security measures getting in & out of the lobby and up the elevators was great. Always a friendly smile & greeting anytime we entered or left the property. Rooms were a little on the small side, but only a handful of rooms per floor, which made it nice & quiet.

The property is nice to stay. However you have lot of homeless people arround which makes a unpleasant experience if you plan to travel with family and kids. The staff is super nice and all the ameneties is good. The rooms are little smaller compared to other properties I have stayed with Mariott so far but that is understandable considering it is New York.

Great trim! great stay! My go to hotel while visiting New York!

Staff at check-in was pleasant. Very nice micro room. Comfortable bed. Space for luggage and a nice rack to hang clothes. Bathroom had everything you need. Quiet, you’d never know you were in midtown Manhattan.

Night Mgr. Anthony was engaging and welcoming regarding questions I had about the surrounding Manhattan area. Rosa was helpful with directions to Central Park when I wanted to go for a run by pointing out its location on a map for me. Bell Services Agent Aaron was also helpful upon being needed. The room was clean. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff are excellent. It’s easy to remember their names because of the quality of their service during my stay.

I arrived around 2am. The front desk asked for a credit card for incidentals and then said he couldn’t add my credit card because I’d booked thru hotels.com vs direct. He said I needed to call hotels.com/expedia directly. I called 4 times trying to find someone to help me. A phone number was hard to find, your voicemail system hard to navigate (you wanted me to input my very long reservation number while I was on the phone - it took so long, hotels.com just disconnected the call. After maybe 30 mins (it was 2:45am), your front desk person finally called the manager and allowed me to check in without a credit card. While I was waiting, another young woman tried to get a room and was told she couldn’t book a room for that night because it was technically “tomorrow” and they’d already closed out the accounting for the previous day. You lost $200+ because no one could be bothered to figure out how to offer that woman a room! The room was very, very small. No water, no coffee cups, no creamer. It is also right next door to a short term housing (homeless?) and there was total chaos outside that night (man screaming at the top of his lungs with pants down) and the next morning (a guy clearly on drugs rode a bike up to the entrance threw it down on the ground then pounded on the elevator to be taken up while the security person was yelling at him. It was the worst marriott I’ve ever stayed at (and I’m a gold bonvoy member so have stayed at many over the years).

Very comfortable bed.
-
It’s okay
-
They just have a bistro that works only until 10:30 am

Soleah Rayne, front desk representative was fantastic and a joy each time we saw her. Replicate her! Ice machine. Slow and doesn’t dispense hotel level amount face. It appears more suitable to a buffet. Recommend replacing.

It's a Courtyard in a fantastic location in the middle of everything. It is not the Four Seasons. Don't expect it to be and you'll be fine.
