Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan by IHG

Great customer service!

The Crowne Plaza HY 36 was wonderful due to its central location in Midtown, clean and quiet rooms, and excellent staff members who were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our 6-night stay. We have stayed at other hotels in this area on numerous occasions over the years, but we liked this one the best. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Clean property, secure doors at night, helpful staff. Nice burger joint attached to the hotel.

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The room was larger than anticipated and extremely clean and well kept. Highly recommend staying here and will be back again the next time we are in the city.

The location, staff, and room were all excellent. Modern room, fairly spacious (by New York standards) and excellent location made this hotel just perfect for a weekend stay for concerts at MSG and a play on Broadway. It was just between 7th and 8th Avenues, so another plus was there was no loitering in the area and it was very safe and clean!

The staff were very friendly. I bought the breakfast plan which was very good because they had a menu for you to choose from. It was NOT a Continental breakfast. Not only that, you could go between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. which I loved. I appreciated those times because I've never been to a hotel breakfast that extends beyond 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. The room was small, not much space to hang your clothes or put much at all in two little drawers. However, the beds were Super Comfortable! I would stay there again!

Excellent hotel at a great price. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the bathroom looked brand new. Nice bar if you want a drink and a burger as well. Great location around the MSG area

Stayed for 4 nights. My room was next to the elevator. I wasn’t too happy about that but they could not switch my room due to availability until the next day. They texted me to see how my stay was going and if I needed anything else. My room ended up being quieter than anticipated so I just stayed put. I really appreciated how they check in on me. They provided the extra towels I requested and were very polite the whole time we stayed. Great location and would stay again. I liked the bathroom. Seems like it was recently remodeled but it did leak hence the need for extra towels.

Friendly staff. Good amenities. However, you need to plan ur time to meet the house keeping schedule. No service after 3 pm. We had to change our bed sheets.

But the thing that made our stay FANTASTIC the staff Visiting from the UK they recommended areas restaurants and bars which suited our needs and maximised our stay in New York In reception they changed our room on request and gave us lots of helpful tips about transport and areas Great service in the bar every night had a great breakfast on our last day and enjoyed the burgers and cocktails in the evening when we would nip in for a nightcap

Great stay! Location was excellent. Staff was professional. Two complaints: 1) A front desk associate gave us directions to a liquor store that was about a 15 minute walk yet we later saw there were other liquor stores much closer. 2) Sliding door to bathroom did not close all the way so there was street lights shining through the gap at night.
