Very small room. Underbed luggage area difficult to access. Clean room and good location

Very friendly staff, that they were extremely accommodating after a dog was barking on our floor for five hours straight. The owner refused to come back to the hotel to care for the dog. The staff gave us an upgraded larger room on the 14th floor, although we lost our view, we gained 100 square feet in room size and they also refunded our amenities fee.

This hotel ‘has it all going on’ There are so many nice touches, including the amazing comforters on the bed, the very cool in-room coffee makers, the pineapple motif coffee mugs and the pineapple sugar cookies. The extra toilet paper roll even looked like a pineapple. The complimentary Staypineapple metal water bottle was the best added touch! Decor was perfect in the Lobby and shoutouts to both Max and Kayla at reception! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a very pleasant time everything was great ✨

The location was perfect!! Walkable distance to many places and a hop skip and a jump to the subway. After walking roughly 7-10 miles a day during a heat wave, coming back to our rooms we walked into cool air, fresh towels and perfectly made beds along with our youngest childs stuffed animals sweetly placed on her pillow. The front desk staff were super sweet an the hotel itself was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again! The connector rooms were FANTASTIC!!!

You get a very clean room with helpful-friendly staff in a very convenient location, and that is what I call value in New York City. The only thing to be aware of is that our room is one of the smallest I've stayed in within the city. If you are two people, you will be quite cramped, and one of you will have to climb the bed from the bottom, plus you will have the A/C air blowing right on you.

100% hands-down recommended hotel for anyone in traveling for either work or pleasure in New York City. Great location in Midtown the staff is super kind and the rooms are beautiful. Plus it's pet friendly… Zero complaints highly recommend

This hotel was in the perfect location. There is someone on reception 24/7 which was perfect for our late flight and getting to the hotel at 1am. The room was clean with everything we needed. The air con worked perfectly and the shower was hot and powerful. The bed was the best I have ever slept in. If only I could have taken it home lol. It was my birthday when we arrived and they put balloons, some sweets and a beautiful birthday card into the room. I loved the pineapple decor along with the mugs with coffee making facilities, water bottle with refill station and super soft robes to wear during our stay. It was the best hotel I could have stayed in and great way to celebrate my 40th birthday and our wedding anniversary. Thank you to everyone.

Great location and staff was super helpful!

There was a dripping sound in the bathroom that I communicated to the staff, but it persisted, and no one got back to me on it. Everyone was super nice, the environment was great, and the location was pretty central, though!

Excellent Hotel. Clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Excellent accommodating staff. Great access to Penn Station. Likely to stay here again for during a short trip to NYC. For practical matters ... The rooms are small. But everything fits. The bedding is "European," meaning no top sheet. So the duvet was more than necessary which lead the periods of being hot ... Then cold when I pushed it away ... Then hot when I pulled it back ... And so on and so forth. Further, instead of one king duvet, two twins were provided with an instruction card. LOL. At one point it was wrapped around my neck. Despite the jovial criticism, it's a nice hotel. They provide a cheeky water bottle to take-away. Fill it with sparkling water at the dill station in the lobby and you're set for the train ride home.

Nice location. Glad to get free water, but it wasn’t cold only cool and had to go from the 10th to the 1st floor every time I needed a refill. There was no refrigerator or microwave. The air conditioner worked but was very loud and never did cool down the room completely when it was hot outside during the day. It never stopped running because it never got down to the desired temperature and it was loud. They try to charge people a $35 amenities fee when you check in on top of a resort fee. They have no food on site other than small bags of chips for sale and canned drinks for sale. The room was super small and one side of the bed is right up against the wall so if two people are in bed you have to climb over the other person to go the bathroom in the middle of the night or make them get up. Very few lights. The room was kind of dark even with all the lights on. There was very little room to eat or do anything. I expect rooms to be small in this part of NYC but this was pretty extreme. Not really hardly big enough for even 2 people to be comfortable. The furniture on the terrace was dirty and old. Fine for dogs but I would let my family sit on it. Staff was good! Overall a little pricy for what you get all things considered. I would pay more and stay elsewhere in the future. Not a bad place, just lacking in some areas.

Rooms were small and dirty!

Great location in a lovely old hotel. They've done it up in the pineapple fashion, so it's kooky and fun. Would stay here again if we could get a bigger room, but you can't complain about room size in New York!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to the front desk team, who went above and beyond during our visit. When the weather turned rainy right before we headed out to a Broadway show, they kindly loaned us an umbrella so we could make it to the theater comfortably and stay dry. It's those thoughtful, unexpected touches that turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one. The team was friendly, helpful, and truly seemed to care about making our experience enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the city. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality!

Adorable, delightfully appointed hotel! Great, walkable location. Very helpful staff. Super cute lobby. Loved the water station (still AND sparkling!)... Room was larger than expected, with a large and well-appinted bathroom and very comfy bed. Was quiet at night and the A/C worked great. Such a fun room and loved all the little touches, including the reusable non-plastic water bottle, stuffed puppy, and the very neat coffee maker (the coffee was excellent, too!) Will stay here again when in the area!
