Homewood Suites New York/Midtown Manhattan Times Square

Nice hotel. Three speedy working elevators made it nice, with little waiting. View’s aren’t much, but we knew that was the case for a mid block hotel, though the roof was nice at night. Not much close by, except Madison Square Garden. But lots of stuff within 0.5 mile walk (Times Square, Empire State Building, Hudson Yard)

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter and I enjoyed breakfast in the morning by the fireplace. It was perfect proximity for going to Madison Square Gardens. Would recommend!

It looked like the pictures and was very clean and comfortable for being in a very busy location. A lot of unnecessary waste and lack of focus on sustainability (plastic disposable cups every morning at breakfast and at the coffee bar), hotel staff threw my soap bar away, lack of supplies to independently clean and do dishes. Not very much natural light (only window faced another building).

Overall positive experience. The hotel was enough modern and confortable with central location and close to many public transport means. Room spacious enough and with good kitchen equipment. Midtown hell's kitchen where the hotel is located although central is not very nice place. The room although being on the 9th floor was a bit dark . Having a kitchen I would have expected a second chair for eating (we requested and got it). The working desk was good but not wide enough for accommodating two chairs for eating. The sound isolation was fair bit corridor noise was not properly isolated. The breakfast was acceptable with some limitation on the food variety. Overall quite expensive but probably due to NY Manhattan pricing.

Room with kitchen is fine for a business trip.

Easy to sleep. We could come and go so easily.

Staff was very professional. Room was clean. Breakfast was great.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was a good size especially for five people. When we first came in the lady at the front desk with the curly hair up to her shoulders was pretty rude, but luckily the gentleman who seemed like a host or a manager and welcomed people with super friendly so that helped. It was also really hard to get extra towels the next day, we probably called three times in an hour and a half, and apparently they had forgotten each time to ask housekeeping. Everything else was good!
