Had a couple of issues with detergent dispensers in the Guest Laundry, but a very quick response from staff!! Thank you!! Miscommunication about having house keeping come to our rooms. Young lady (night staff) was pretty rude to one of my family members. Heard from other guests they had the same experience w/ this staff member. ☹️ Sorry, I don’t have her name. Also, we had asked that our bill be split between occupants of each room. Assured that wasn’t a problem we each provided our cards. End result, my card which I used thru Expedia to book the rooms was the only card charged.

Great Location . Everything is near by. Best part is closer to penn station Washroom. There should be one hand shower or tap.

Location is perfect. In the heart of Manhattan, close to the Penn station. I can imagine a better breakfast :)

Great location and excellent facilities

We have been coming to Homewood Suites for approximately the last six years. We love the proximity to all the areas of NYC. This year did not disappoint. I would like to give a huge Thank You to Jossty. What an exemplary employee at the property. He was genuine and an overall great person.

I first love how the staff was very friendly, polite and caring. I love the rooms, large comparing to other hotels I have stayed in in that surrounding. Love the Kitchenette - 2 burner stove, large refrigerator, dish washer, Microwave and the Plates, utensils and Pots. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not bad for a continental breakfast also included in your stay. Room service was every other day but if you needed anything, you could call room service for it. Bathroom was good size. Area was wonderful, steps away from 8th Avenue where everything basically is. Love that we could walk to and from Penn Station and local Train and Bus service. Lobby always have cold beverages and snack offered to guest. Elevator was fast. Did not care too much for Pillows on the bed, too soft and light. Did not like the shower space, very small but not a big deal. The breakfast area was overcrowded but it works. Love hotel overall and would stay there again.

Everything

Hotel was lovely. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only criticism was that the wifi was a bit slow, and that the beds were made incorrectly in both of our rooms (mattress protectors were used as blankets and we ended up sleeping less well).

Walking from the train station to the hotel is convenient, and overall access to the metro station is excellent. The room is comfortable, with an adequate bathroom, kitchen, and refrigerator. Breakfast is actually pretty good. There's a 7-Eleven on the corner with 8th Avenue, but on the corner with 9th Avenue there's a small market with much better variety and prices: Gourmet Deli The neighborhood has some drug users on the street, though they don't cause any disturbance. There are also some homeless people in the area, which seems to be fairly common throughout New York City based on what we observed. Housekeeping only comes every 48 hours (every other day), not daily. The biggest issue is seating space, the hotel has more guests than the small breakfast area can accommodate, so it's always crowded.
