We were a little put off by the trash outside of the hotel. You couldn't see the sign on the sidewalk. It is New York so I imagine that's normal? The room is very small and compact. We reserved a king bed and it certainly didnt seem like it was a king. We were close to the venue which was the goal. I dont think I'd reserve this hotel again. Don't let that detour you, its just not for me.

Clean cool and quiet. Reasonable breakfast - good pastries.

Great location for broadway shows, MSG, Times Square, Empire state building and similar sites. Breakfast was simple yet sufficient. Rooms are rather small but clean.

great hotel

Very accommodating and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good. The bar was a bit pricey but I guess that should be expected in NYC.

Love this hotel, its convenient location, its wide-ranging breakfast options, and its helpful staff. My friend and I have stayed here on three trips to NYC, and we hope to return. The rooms are tiny, but the space is functional and always meets our needs. It’s a quick walk to Broadway shows and a great base for exploring the city.

This hotel was a wonderful choice for our trip. The breakfast served every morning was great and gave us a perfect start to the day. The location is the real highlight, it’s highly accessible and walkable to almost all the main spots. If you need to go further, the metro station is just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to travel uptown and downtown. The room itself is a little small with limited space to move around, but it was clean, comfortable, and perfect for an active trip.

The staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. Didn't love the tiny bathroom or the 1000 lb. sliding bathroom door that didn't close all the way. But the bed comfy, the room was quiet and the rate was fair.

Was only there for one night but everything was perfect. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and the free breakfast in the morning was delicious.

I stayed in room 805 initially upon check in, the room was warm I turned on the AC, and we left for the day, upon arrival back to our room the heat was unbearable and we requested a maintenance check? He performed the check and said it would start cooling off, about an hr later I had to request to move rooms due to the heat... we moved to room 720.. This room was also hot but not as hot at the previous room, around 2am I requested a fan to help with the heat, we never received one, it was soo hot in the room when the house keeping lady put her arm in the door... she informed me she would speak to the front desk, when we checked out she asked did they find a solution and I informed her that we were leaving due to the heat... when I spoke with the front desk the guy behind the desk just said sorry for your experience and that was it. I have stayed at a many Marriott's this was by far the worst customer service and experience I have ever had. Especially with the rates being higher then normal.

Very clean and comfortable room. Check in was really smooth and the hotel offered luggage drop off on day of check out. Also very good location in the city

Without question I’d be back so long as prices remain reasonable.

My husband and I had an excellent 1-night stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott. It's co-located with the Fairfield Inn just a few blocks from Moynihan and Penn Station. Our stay coincided with the World Cup and several other events so the lobby was hopping. Despite the activity, the front desk staff were calm, approachable, and helpful. Our room wasn't ready upon checkin as we had gotten in early, but it was not a problem to store our luggage. We were in room 620, which was a king. In NYC fashion it was small but well equipped with functional furniture (closet with full ironing board, safe, space for hanging clothes); mini fridge, coffee maker, a desk with charging stations and a chair. Each side of the bed had mini nightstands with charging stations and good lighting. There was a separate seat near the window so you didn't just have to sit on the bed if someone was using the desk chair. The bathroom was bright and clean. Lots of towels. The shower worked well and had consistent temperature and water pressure. Overall, sleep quality was good. The bed was comfy. If you are a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs as NYC is full of honking at any hour of the night. The hotel can't control that. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of hot and cold options that they kept well stocked throughout the breakfast period.
