Great hotel and customer service

Hotel was clean. We had to move room multiple times due to air conditioning issues which was frustrating but the morning staff did every6they could to make it right. The night front desk stff was not very helpful. Breakfast was also good and a nice perk to start the day.

The proximity to Times Square, and some great food was perfect. It was also close to subway stops which made travel convenient. The rooms were small but for New York that is normal. The breakfast was good, lots of options. Try Vito’s pizza on the corner of 9th Ave and 36st. It’s the best. Also give Tavola a try. It is on 9th ave and it’s an amazing Italian restaurant

Breakfast left much to be desired. But it was enough.

Christina was extremely helpful with our luggage and finding Parking

Location was perfect. Checkin was simple Rooms were tiny. Lifts were extremely slow and crowded once they did arrive. Was overcharged as well (no response yet).

Property was good area and easy to subways entrance. It was hidden and hard to find at first. Elevator was very slow.
-
Clean room and flexibility to hold my lugguage after checking out. The sofa is old and has some wears on it. I heard the sound outside whenever someone slam the door and that scared me.

We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn on W 36th in NYC. Upon arrival all the staff were very helpful, they stored our bags safely while we toured the local area until our rooms were ready. They called when one room was ready but not the other 2. I booked through Expedia and prepaid the room, which I will NEVER EVER EVER do again. This hotel charged me again for all 3 rooms when I checked out. Had to go to the front desk and speak with someone 2 times. The first person claimed I was not charged and I was mistaken. Pretty much dismissed my concerns. Went back up about an hour later and spoke with a very nice woman and she dig some digging. Found that they did charge me 2 times, had a manager come over and help with the credit (he too was very helpful). After getting home the credit did not match what they charged my room. It has all been such a hassle. I am sure I ended up paying the $250/per room charge for incidentals. Just be very careful when you work with this hotel. Also, our sliding barn door - bathroom door was off the slider. The door weighed at least 400 lbs and took 3 people to maneuver over the front of the bathroom. Asked them to fix it, no one ever came to fix it so we put a bed sheet in front of the bathroom so that there was a bit of privacy. Rooms are also super small and about a foot on each side of the bed to the wall. Crowded stay for 4 people in a room. To say our stay was not be best would be un understatment. Lesson learned on pre-paying with Expedia.

Location I was charged 100 usd on top of everything just for 1 bottle of water and I sent complaint email to hotel via booking. And still I have not received any feedback yet. This charge is very very unpleasant

This hotel is at a very convenient location. Every staff at the lobby was very helpful. It's obvious the hotel is trying the best to help the customers, from breakfast, parking, to luggage storage. Will definitely back again.
-
Great location. Everything's fine. We would definitely go back The elevator takes too long. Only 1 for alot of people. View was not nice.
-
Great facilities fridge, microwave coffee maker in room, decent breakfast, busy but clean and stocked well, also laundry and gym on site Could be a bit of a wait on the lift sometimes

Location was a 5-10 minute walk from Penn Station so easy to get to and central to make way around city. Breakfast was great and easy to grab and fill you up before heading out. Staff on reception were brilliant. Special mention to the lady on night shift (sorry didnt get her name) Daughter had an incident and 'came on' and woke up at 4 in morning. She didnt have any pads and out of chance i went to the desk and asked if they had any and they had some in the drawer. Absolute lifesavers! Its the small details that matter. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location good breakfast included and value for money Nothing

The location was good, can walk around and everything was close Bathroom was not clean, the pillows were horrible! The elevators are so small that’s takes forever to go either up or down. They said they will give me a discount for my parking ticket which they did not! They did not clean my room in the two nights that I was there! Calling the front desk will take you about 20 m, so plan with time is you need something! I would not stay there again, I would definitely find another hotel near !

Our stay was so nice! I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed during the World Cup and there were so many guests but the breakfast buffet was amazing!
