TRYP by Wyndham New York City Times Square / Midtown

I stayed one night and was “upgraded” for some reason, which meant that I had a long room with bunk beds and a tiny TV at the opposite end of the room from the bed. It was perfectly acceptable and clean, but nothing special.

The property is located next door to a police station so that helped with the security but overall not impressed with hotel and the photos listed were not an accurate representation of the property

I would have to say they are ok if the best hotels I’ve been too in NYC. They are very accommodating with issues and they have very spacious rooms!

Dirty bathroom, the "clean" towels had wads of hair on them, and TV didn't work. Bed was fine.

Very dated and didn’t feel clean. Window in roof of room had large cracks in and there were stains throughout the walls of the room. Very expensive for the quality and poor value for money.

I liked that it was close to everything. Our room wasn't ready by 3:18pm (18 minutes after check in) and needed to move us 2 floors away from our group. It's been 6 business days and still haven't gotten the $300 security deposit back. Had multiple miscommunications despite only being there for 2 nights.

We felt the room was clean but the property itself was not. There were discrepancies with billing and incidentals deposit. Property charged our card before check in without permission, required us to provide incidental deposit before arrival and charged it again upon check in even though a card was already preprovided. Bartender was sketchy at best, seemed to try to pull a quick move to get cash on top of already charging card. They also seem unconcerned with the filth outside their doors. Location was convenient.

Clean room and helpful staff

The staff was very accommodating. When the room I booked had been given away, the staff gave me an upgrade. When the bathroom in that new room had an issue, they gave us an even larger room which was quite comfortable.

Easy check in and out. Comfortable beds. Light in bathroom kept going off while showering but ok! Great location. Will stay again.

Only the location was good. The lines for check in were a disaster. I found a kakarouch in my room. Alot of dust all over the room. Alot of garbage around the area.
