Element by Marriott New York Times Square West

The full team was kind, but the receptionist team was fantastic, especially Arianye, Geo,Damian,Victoria. They are always help for us, the communication type was so friendly and welcoming between each other. I felt myself and my family az home what is so important. The locaction of the the hotel was pretty good, before in 2018 or 2019 we had been there. During the breakfast somethimes we waited to the elevator couple minutes Soon maybe some furniture(sofa bed) have to change it. From our side this is just a very small thing.

Good location and decent size room. Breakfast was convenient with plenty of choice.

The photos of the 'studio' rooms are very deceptive and do not represent the actual size. They show a kitchenette and sitting area. Neither is the reality. The room is a standard size with a cabinet and sink on one wall and single sofa chair on the other.

Our bedroom was a good size with a large bathroom with and a great view Unfortunately there was a lot of noise during the day from works on the front of the building. We were warned but told that it would be the first week in October not whilst we were there. Our family, despite being four of them, had a smaller room and bathroom. The headboards were very scratched in their room, surely an easy thing to sort ! We had no hot water in the bathroom and although someone came quickly they couldn’t fix it. We were offered another room but not right away and on another floor away from our family. Surely this must have been reported previously and fixed before our stay. I would also like to mention that I had a lot of unnecessary stress over a prepayment. We weren’t told about that and the money was taken before our stay without informing us how much. As my card was declined for some unknown reason, I used my son’s card which was accepted but then the money was taken from my card and when my son went to pay at the hotel when we arrived that was declined! So he had to Apple Pay and an extortionate amount of deposit was taken. Would not recommend this hotel.

Very good

My room was great! Like a mini apartment with a full sized fridge, mini oven and dishwasher. I felt right at home. The view was also unbeatable for the price. The breakfast is also plentiful but get there early as the crowd can be overwhelming. Also there are only three elevators, sometimes two so be prepared to wait. Would stay here again though, excellent location!

The location. It was clean. The water was out, the rooftop deck was closed, we didn’t get complementary water when we checked in. Long lines at front desk for questions, ice, extra blanket.

Everything was good. But the elevator was slow. Also, I didn't expect the water interruption. Was not informed for booking the hotel. Breakfast was great.

I had a horrible experience with the customer service after booking company travel.

I expected a better hotel in Times Square. I was there for 3 nights, but I did not get much sleep because the refrigerator was very noisy. The microwave oven did not work. The shower floor was slippery. I am 79 years old and was afraid of falling in the shower. There were not enough hand bars in the shower. The toilet was too short .It should be chair height. Breakfast was not very good. No bacon.

The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good and the elevators are fast although there are only 3 of them.

Location and breakfast was decent for hotel food.

I felt this hotel was in the perfect location for first-time visitors and anyone visiting New York in general. It’s right next to Times Square, Bryant Park, and Grand Central, making it super convenient to get around and explore the city. Saved money on food as they provided breakfast. The room was clean and had such a great view! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting NYC.
