Fairfield Inn by Marriott LaGuardia Airport/Flushing

1st, when we got there, Deana Hsu is at the front desk, we were greeted right away. Very friendly, ask if we been there before and when we said no, she gave us a lot of information on how to use the bus, the train, where to go for excellent food tripping, she is very informative to guests. We arrived early ( before check in time coming from Washington,DC ) so we were tired, we ask if we can get a room at that time and she said yes. That is a relief, all other staff are nice as well, mini fridge is not working at the room that we received but they swap it out when we left to go out and eat. Everything else inside the room is good including the restroom. Location of the hotel is very convenient. Bus top is just there ( 1 min walk )close to a gas station as well. Very safe, front is the NYPD Academy haha. 10 mins to Flushing ( maybe China Town, not sure but it looks like ) lots of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast selection is decent. I also met Lisa and she is friendly as well. Has an onsite parking ( limited ) but hotel said can park in the side of the building without a problem. Did use on site parking though. Left vehicle and did ride bus, train to where we go, it’s faster. Hard to find parking lot around the city. Easier to commute. I will definitely book this hotel next time we come back to NYC.

The neighborhood was so so. There was lots of noise due to proximity to the airport

The room itself was clean, although the bathroom could have used a bit more attention before my arrival. I mentioned it to the front desk, and they were very apologetic and addressed the issue promptly, which I really appreciated. One of the biggest conveniences was the complimentary airport shuttle, especially after a stressful travel day. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

They went above and beyond to help us and make us lifetime supporters. Their breakfast was FABULOUS, AirportShuttle with Kevin was AWESOME!!! We will definitely stay there again!!! Thank you!

Very clean Comfortable beds quick uber to Citifield Parking scarce and but worked out because we ubered and didn’t need to use car.

The location was ok. Could you possibly provide gluten free bread or bagels.

My stay was very pleasant and the staff was very nice.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was excellent. It all starts with Deana at the front desk. She greeted me and made me feel at home. She explained everything in detail to me. I have never had a better experience than meeting Deana last Sunday. I wish everyone could be like her..respectful, courteous, patient, and very informative. Your hotel should do everything in your power to keep such a wonderful person.

The elevator is very slow moving to each floor.

Parking was not adequate for number of guest rooms. Back entrance from small parking lot does not work. You must walk around the building to the main entrance. Air conditioning unit points directly at the bed and cannot be diverted. Adequate but pricey.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean, breakfast was yummy. The staff were AMAZING. Super friendly, incredibly helpful. The location itself isn’t really walkable to restaurants or activities, but it is very close to Q26 bus route. We used this to easily connect all over the city. I will be staying here again next time I am in town!

The front desk gentleman, I believe Alan, is a gem. His hospitality by far exceeds other hotels in the US. He made sure to go the extra mile in everything. Give him a raise! Make sure he becomes a partner! Have him teach people what hospitality should be!

Small parking lot which caused me to park on the street. We were given a room on the bottom floor that looked and smelled like it was flooded and have carpet blowers drying the floors. The towels smelled like a dirty wet sock

Clean room and very awesome staff!

room was spacious enough for three friends traveling together! front desk lady was extremely nice as well as helpful! only stayed for a night but that night we were comfortable!

The airport shuttle driver did not arrive hotel on time and hence had to take uber as we had to catch a morning flight.

The neighborhood looked a lot less dodgy in the daytime, but the key thing is that the Inn is close to LaGuardia. Half the rooms are a little bit below ground, but they are clean, spacious, comfortable, and well lit. Breakfast was great on the whole, though the waffle had a little off taste. The staff was friendly and competent, and there when I checked in at 12:15am.
