Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan / Central Park

Unfortunately NO Pool, NO Sauna other than that it was very pleasant stay

I booked a room for 5, and the booking said the room slept 5. We got up to our room and there was no cot or anything for my 12 year old to sleep on. We went to the front desk and asked about sleeping accommodations for the 5th person on the room and that we specifically booked a room that was supposed to sleep 5. The staff could not be bothered by the request and basically stated we were screwed. My son ended up sleeping on the hard floor for 2 nights. The staff offered no partial refund for them not keeping what they stated they could accommodate - they basically didn’t care and made no apologies about it. Won’t stay here again.

The staff was excellent! The bar was cozy and an excellent bartender!!

Great room, good location. Spacious for New York standards. Staff was great and safety was amazing. Just 2 blocks from subway station and close to Central Park. Would stay again.

The hotel is very convenient to shopping venues, restaurants, public transportation. 10-15 walk to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The check-in staff was very friendly

Loved the location and breakfast. Front desk very helpful. People of different countries present which gave a very global feeling. The room advertised was not big enough for 4 adults and one child which necessitated us spending another 1000 dollars to get another room. Bathroom was apallingly small. I can understand if the rooms were advertised tbrough bookings.com but this was a room that should never have been advertised in the first place.

Breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Staff was outstanding I had a roll in shower which I didn't need, it leaked. Room a little small.

Very welcoming staff. Clean rooms and helpful and kind cleaning staff. Great bar area, and while we enjoyed our time in the courtyard outside, that area could use some updating (furniture and plants surround) but it was a great area to hang outside of the hotel. Loved the fresh citrus water in the bar area. Great proximity to many great food and coffee shops nearby. We would definitely return!

Breakfast large buffet and choices were a pleasant surprise. Servers were very lively ladies, friendly and efficient. The building is in very poor condition.....especially for $500 per night. I asked about reducing the paid in advance charge and was told NO, too late. Should have called before arriving. No unloading zone, no way to leave car and check in.
