Close to Lincoln Center. Room was small and wall paper was peeling. Showering dripped randomly throughout the night.

Pool is basically too small. Curtain not working. Carpet doesn't feel clean. Sink was leaking.

The pictures don't show the pool is more of a plunge pool not a true pool. In the heat the air conditioning in the rooms hardly work the lobby was filled with guests having issues the coolest our room got was high 80's the entire time. The adjoining room door didn't have a lock there was a piece of furniture located Infront of the door. Everything looked either dated/ unkept. I would not recommend staying here

    Nice stay. Centrally located

My take—I’d stay again if I just need a place to sleep/park my bags while in the city for a short visit. For longer than a night, or traveling with my spouse, I’ll likely hit up the roomier hotel offerings in Midtown or Columbus circle.

The staff are amazing! Knowledgable, helpful, kind, and fun. The room was old, and this had dirty/stained carpet and the ceiling actually dropped a chunk of plaster while we’re there. The A/C unit is old and VERY LOUD. It was over 100 degrees F during our stay and it struggled to keep up. It also created so much moisture in the room that the carpet around it was wet. There’s definitely mold in the walls/ceiling. The location and the staff are the reasons to stay here.

    Good

Filthy dirty. The a/c unit broke in our room and we slept in a room that was 98 degrees. Management didn’t seem concerned and refused to give a refund. Terrible service at the desk. Avoid this hotel it was disgusting and unethical.

Rooms are small and old; the bar in first floor was closed, and customer service was very poor

Our room was not clean upon arrival and had a noticeable odor. There were mystery stains on multiple surfaces, holes in the walls and flooring, stained and damaged curtains, and an unattractive view. I don't mind a small New York City hotel room, but I do expect it to be clean and well maintained. The bathroom was particularly concerning. There appeared to be black mold, and it was evident that it had not been thoroughly cleaned—we even found drink stirrers from a previous guest stuck to the bathroom floor. The air conditioning was also ineffective. Although the thermostat was set to 70°F, the room remained hot, humid, and uncomfortable throughout our stay. Overall, despite the convenient location, the cleanliness and condition of the room fell far below expectations, and I would not stay here again.

This hotel is NOT a 3 or a 4 star hotel as advertised. The hotel hallway is dingy , rooms are small and most rooms are facing the patio ( filled with AC units and other rooms) . The hotel and Expedia should be upfront in their advertising and update the site with the real pictures. There are some room that do face Broadway which is definitely nice , however you never know where your room is located until you check in . This hotel does not meet the advertised 3 or 4-star rating. The hotel hallway is dimly lit, and the rooms are compact. Most rooms face the patio, which is occupied by air conditioning units and other rooms. It is imperative that both the hotel and Expedia be transparent in their advertising and update their website with accurate photographs. While there are some rooms that face Broadway, the exact location of each room is unknown until the check-in process.

Avoid! Cheap horribly uncomfortable bedding. AC does not work. People are walking out moments after they check in and staying at other places. Rooms are dated, bathrooms and small and falling apart. Carpet is tore in the hallways. Most of the staff stand around doing nothing. Keys constantly deactivated the instant you leave the room. Stay elsewhere.

Paid about $650 for my family suite per night. The rooms were extremely hot the entire stay. I went to the front lobby to inquire about the heat and broken AC in the middle of July summer in NYC!!. I was informed that they will bring the fans, we waited until 2am. My family was burning in the heat. We called multiple times to no avail. We checked out at 6am and left for the New Yorker. I was not compensated for this abject stay. Poor, poor customer service.

Great location older building, staff could be more helpful. We had a some detector making noise all night took them a second call to send someone to fix the issue.

Average hotel, a few things to know - you will get charged a daily fee for using a third party for booking, that pretty much takes your hotel deposit. The rooms are small, bathroom smaller, you have to get bottled water from the front desk daily, no ice machine - they will bring ice to your room if you ask, can’t use rooftop anything after 7pm if you have minors. Pretty ok location, but for the price and deposit I paid I could’ve stayed somewhere a bit better and paid the same amount.

The room had a broken blind, which could not be raised to let the sunlight in. The AC in our first room was broken. The breaker kept switching off to where we had to keep calling for them to reset it. The last time we called no one came, and my husband had to sleep outside with his head, sticking out into the hallway. They were unable to fix it so we moved but the room was not available until the next day at 3 PM, which is the regular check-in time. We were told that if we left in the morning to leave our belongings in the room and they would be moved for us, but that did not happen we did not receive our room until 3 o’clock the following day and other things were not brought to us until 6:00 PM. The second room we received had a multi smelling restroom curtain a broken iron I had to ask for a new iron at it was not brought until two days later I had to go to dinner with a wrinkled dress. This room has signs of water damage and the smell of musty, wet curtains and sheets. It was a very unfortunate day in terms of amenities. That locations was perfect surrounding restaurants and entertainment was spectacular. It all came down to the hospitality and the professionalism of the staff and the ability to handle unexpected crowds and circumstance thank you

The Pool is really small. We found a cockroach in the cabinet. The room AC didn’t work. Hotel was overbooked and it was not possible to acomodare us.

    - holding the specific room you booked in the reservation (in my case I booked 2 beds; they gave me 1 plus couch - I had to push for 2 beds which they gave me bc the a/c did not work) - replacing keycards that stopped working - remembering to send a fan up to the room because the air conditioning does not work The front desk staff were very rude, arrogant and took no accountability for anything that was wrong. They were extremely condescending as if we caused these issues ourselves. Real example: told them the a/c didn’t work on the first night; they told us to come back in the morning first thing to remind the shift change. I did that at 6 am the following day- the attendant at that time told me confidently to go about my day, and when I return at 3 pm, to simply pick up the new keys at reception. I returned at 3 pm and the room was not ready. Despite our request for urgency as we had dinner plans, there was no room and they did not care. I checked back in at at 4:45 pm: the receptionist with full confidence, said he was happy they had a room for me, and proceeded to give me the exact same room I was coming from. This singular experience summarizes this hotel. I understand that it is an older building, but it does not excuse the behaviour of these individuals. Do NOT stay here.

The location of the hotel was its most valuable feature. Located right in front of Lincoln Center, near Columbus Circle with high end shopping, within 1 block of Central Park, and very near a central train station - Columbus Circle. In general, this is an older hotel. Our room had a VERY small and dated bathroom. The room had poor air circulation as did many areas of the hotel. The AC blew at 65 but the cool air did not move around the room. The staff was excellent. Our room was cleaned daily; every day we returned from our long, hot, subway adventures to a clean room. The on-site roof top restaurant was nice as well. Despite its dated rooms, I would consider staying here again for the great location.
