The building is very old, small and tight quarters throughout, dark, run down. The staff are very nice but I wouldn't recommend this unless it's the cheapest option and you are OK with lower quality. Hinestly I have almost no recollection of this stay

Check in was too late for me, they could hold my bags but they were in the lobby, so not very secure.

The tv didn’t work

Great location!

Only complaint was there was no hand soap and one of the drawers seemed to be a little dirty. Other than that, no complaints.

The restaurant and bar below the hotel and the staff The room was grubby, bathroom floor tiling cracked in places, mold in bath/shower, dirt around doorway, shabby furniture with no adequate hanging space.

The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly and made us feel very welcome. I especially loved the character of the hotel. It has that charming, authentic, old New York boutique-hotel feel rather than the generic feel of a big chain. It was comfortable, full of personality, and a really nice part of our New York experience.

This is an older hotel but the historic charm is amazing. The staff were wonderful. The location is perfect. You can get to Times Square, Central Park and all the Broadway shows so easily. We have already booked again for next year. There is no breakfast but it is not needed in NYC as there are tons of cafes and everything right around. The price was also great.

Online pictures and description are deceiving.

The hotel is close to where we want to go see in the area and so that's a big plus. Everything in the hotel works and staff are helpful and accommodating. It is an old budget hotel and so adjust your expectations accordingly and you'll be fine.

I really liked the hotel; although the room was small, the location was perfect—close to various tourist attractions and places to eat.

The beds are the most uncomfortable beds ive ever laid on i felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood.

I have stayed here a number of times of times and will look forward to a return-conveniently located close to Times Square, Broadway , subways & multiple times restaurants
