The staff was very welcoming and friendly, especially Felix and Mike who went out of their way to make our stay extra special! N/A
-
It was a great location and had very nice staff and amenities.
-
Location Run down and sad. Roof top was an appeal for me and it was closed with no notice to guests. I left early.
-
The entire stay was amazing! Location and cleanliness was perfect!
-
Location is great Run down. Not worthy of 4 stars
-
Close to Central Park and Fifth Ave
-
Nice location. Bag of garbage stood on the hole way for more than 12 hrs.

Was closed. It’s not like the photos. Do your homework

I’ve stayed at the hotel before and it was pleasant, but not this time. The room they gave us was really just the size of a closet. You could barely walk in there, and the bed arrangement was just very ugly. The second night, the room we got was much better, but the only thing was that it didn’t have natural light. It faced another building, so it was impossible to tell if it was day or night.

Near everything, we planned on going. Staff was very friendly & informative. Noise with Times Square
-
Very cozy place to stay. Everything was clean, decor was nice. Room service great. Only negative is that I chose Dream because there was a rooftop bar and also the Ricky, sadly, however neither was open.
-
Great location, I was on second floor and it was remarkably quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very nice… Hot showers. The lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. The property could use a facelift.

Location is great. It's walking distance to theatres and restaurants, but not as noisy as Times Square area. The room was comfortable and clean. We requested rooms near each other and the hotel was able to accommodate that request. It does not have a mini fridge or coffee maker. There are no vending machines / ice machines. Called each morning to have ice delivered. Also did not like that the 2 drinking glasses are on a shelf in the bathroom over the toilet. The desk is a better location. Most disappointing, the advertised roof top patio is closed for renovation, the adjoining bar is closed. The guard said lobby bathroom closes every night at midnight. We weren't sure if this accurate since we came back to the hotel at 11:25 and it was already "locked for the night" per guard.

being alone, I felt completely safe. Friendly cleaning staff!

Very poor

Staff was great, especially Eddie the doorman. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay; from assistance with luggage, transportation, and recommendations in the area. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be staying here again for future visits. Location allows for easy transportation.

The whole place was clean and in good repair, with a competent and attentive staff. My issue with the hotel is that it was recently purchased by a new owner, and for whatever reason the new owners have shut down the rooftop bar and game room. I just looked, and the roof top bar is still the very first image at the top of their website. When I mentioned this to management, they gave me 3 days of free "destination fees", a $100 value. Since I booked the Dream Hotel at Midtown based on its location AND amenities, had I known of the absence of the amenities, I would have booked something else for our stay. Also, our room had an adjoining door to the rooms on either side of ours. The adjoining doors are not noise proof. On the first day we were there, we could hear 2-3 young children playing without supervision, calling each other "poopy heads" (as kids do), but the door was closed and it sounded as if they were in our room. On the last day we overheard a long phone call that the occupant made with another person. Not just noise, but the whole call word for word. I would recommend to the new owners that they soundproof all the adjoining doors.

Old building, newly renovated room, shower head can be improved hut water pressure was good enough, very convenient location, being in the middle of multiple subway stations, no breakfast in the premise but many options around including Starbucks and delis within 5within the block. Less than 10 minute to Central Park/Columbus circle. I would come back for my next trip.

Smelled like mold………………..

My stay wasn’t the worst, but it had some notable issues. The first two rooms I was given smelled strongly of smoke and were very humid. Their rooftop was also closed during my visit. On top of that, they charge a resort fee.
