Clean. Friendly staff
-
I prefer peace and quiet, so I choose the rooms that don’t face the streets.

I was surprised that there was no mini-frig in the room - I thought that was pretty much standard in America but it did not hold true here. Room was large, bed was comfy. Would stay here again.

In a fabulous location and as luck would have it we were put in a corner room looking at Broadway!! The room was very clean as were all the public areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Water bottles that were free in the room was a nice touch as was coffee in the morning and the water all day in the lobby. Loved the wine hour and the retro vibe of the lobby. We will definitely stay here again. There was scaffolding all around the building totally visible out our windows ... that was unfortunate but there was no way to predict that when we booked. (We used a booking site rather than calling the hotel but I doubt we would have been informed of that anyway.)

Great location. Older hotel

The bell men were very helpful especially Jeff. I lost a rain jacket and thought I would get it back but they could not find it in the room. Thank you for your service you were great!
-
Incomprensible q las habitaciones no tengan cafetera eléctrica ni microondas, obligando a los clientes a bajar al lobby para tomar cafe. La caja de seguridad de mi habitación tampoco funcionaba.

Nice. Clean. Friendly staff. Appreciate the kindness and humor of JEFF. He is an asset to the hotel. Please tell him to get to Maryland soon and enjoy crab cakes!!!!!!! Thanks for everything.

This is our 4th trip in the last 10 months and this has been our favorite place to stay so far!

To me the main problem was the pillows. WAY too much loft. I woke up with a terrible neck ache and just had to sleep without pillows after that. I asked for an alternative but they had nothing to offer. Clearly a lot of people like their pillows like that, so it may not be an issue for you. A folding luggage rack would have been useful. There were only two drawers for storage in a room with two beds, and only a single nightstand, between the two beds. Only three electrical outlets. My wife and daughter didn’t like how the sink sloped so that hair curlers etc would slide into the sink. Windows didn’t do much to block out street noise so it was really loud by day, but there was surprisingly little traffic by night so we slept well. We never heard any neighbors through the walls or ceilings. And... be careful of the alarm clock! There's a device on the nightstand with with outlets and a USB jack, but it's also an alarm clock. I seem to have accidentally pushed a button and it woke us up at some ungodly hour. ;) The room was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and we’d gladly stay there again.

The rooms were cleaned with a lot of bleach so the smell was suffocating in the room. I wouldn’t recommend. Location is good though.

Overall the stay was great. Right near the sub, restaurants, shops and time square. The only issue I had was I believe one of the staff tricked me into thinking they upgraded my room. I paid for a view and my room was supposed to have a microwave. She told me that they upgraded me to a king size bed. But it was a really small room with no view and no microwave. I stayed here once before so I know how it is to have a bigger room. And view. I feel like my attire probably made her think I wouldn’t care. Other than that it was good , the bar tender was great. I forgot her name but she was a mixed girl who made me feel welcomed. And there was a young lady whose name was Chasity or something like that who was very helpful and thoughtful. Great location just be sure to get the room you paid for and don’t let them just give you any room.

The rooms have nice beds, are clean, and well maintained. They are doing some outside maintenance to the building currently - but it is only during the day and isn’t an issue. The elevators had some malfunction during my stay but they were on it and kept us moving. The location is amazing for all things midtown. I’ve stayed here before and will for sure stay there again.

The room and restroom were extremely small. The air complete resetting to over 80 degrees and the restroom was a sauna because the window had a two inch open gap between the pane and frame.
-
When the room was made up, they didn't leave new washcloths and we never did get more. They took the old ones, but didn't replace.
-
Very central hotel, close to all amenities, but is a little old and outdated.
-
Good location, walking distance to most attractions. Easy to find restaurants close by.
