Just a reminder of what happened: The water was shut off at 8:00 AM the next morning without any prior notice. The two corners at the end of the bed were extremely sharp, and the aisle was way too narrow, which caused both of us staying in the room to get hurt by bumping into them. When checking out, I reported this situation to the receptionist. She replied very impatiently, "I'll tell them." I told her again and repeated three times that I was injured, and only then did she ask if I needed a band-aid. Finally, she went inside, grabbed two band-aids, and handed them to me. Her attitude was extremely poor.

The location was great, in walking distance from the train, and every place we want to get to. Comfortable bed and clean room. What we didn’t like is our room was directly a cross from the elevators, in a small hallway two steps away from our door, so it made for an awkward noisy stay when people were waiting to take the elevators and they didn’t have other rooms available.

Average accommodation. Nothing extraordinary.
-
No hubo limpieza de la habitación no cambio de toallas en los dos días de estancia.

Room with terrace was incredible. Staff was great! I would give 5 stars except the water was turned off for repairs on our last day and staff was not able to compensate us with points without me having to check back later. They did not give enough notice of this issue for us to change hotels.

Friendly staff Lovely steak restaurant

Although the room was clean and the staff was helpful, the long waits for the elevators and the tiny lobby were less than ideal.

Despite having a confirmed reservation, our check-in was delayed for a long time because the hotel was overbooked. We had to wait unnecessarily after a long trip, which is unacceptable. The room had no air conditioning, making our stay extremely uncomfortable. Upon checkout, the manager apologized and promised to compensate us with Hilton Honors points. It has now been more than two weeks, the points have never been added to my account, and despite emailing the manager, I have received no response. The customer service was unprofessional, and the lack of follow-up shows a complete lack of respect for guests. Another major issue is that the hotel does not provide its own parking. Guests are forced to use nearby public parking, which costs around $85 per day, adding a significant unexpected expense to the stay. Overall, this was one of the worst Hilton experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, broken promises, inconvenient parking, and an uncomfortable room. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Location! Clean room and nice view!

The first morning after checking in from a long travel day we discovered that the shower handle was frozen in place and 2 strong adults could not budge it. We did not have time to wait for this to be fixed because we had a Statue of Liberty tour booked so all we could do was sponge bathe before leaving for the day. When we informed the front desk of the issue it sounded like this happens often but they would send a person to fix the issue. Upon returning to the room the shower would now turn on but there was no hot water. We were lucky if it got to lukewarm. The rest of the stay the water fluctuated from barely warm to cold depending on the day and time. When we told the front desk of the issue they asked if we let it run for 10 minutes because sometimes it takes that long! What?!? Then there were the elevator issues. One day only one of three elevators were working so we had to wait 30 minutes for an elevator that wasn’t full. Even then we had to ride up to the 31st floor to go back down in an elevator packed with people who had also been waiting a very long time. The elevator issues persisted over the 4 days we stayed. The hotel has a restaurant attached so we expected the breakfast to be pretty good but $25 a person bought you a very mediocre buffet that is usually included at cheaper properties and no ala carte menu was offered. As a long time loyal Hilton Honors member I am appalled at how poorly this hotel is maintained. I will never stay at this property again!

Plan for extra exiting times. The elevator can take 20 minutes to arrive
-
Not bad for the price but the elevators are extremely slow and the staff is ok not great!
-
The lobby is small, the fitness center is meager, and the AC couldn’t keep up with the temperatures. But worst of all, the elevators were barely functional - at least one was out of service at some point y each day during our 5-day stay. And they appeared to not have a service elevator, so frequently when there were only two of the three elevators in operation, one was dedicated to housekeeping. Expect to wait 10+ minutes each time you need to go up or down. Not what I expected for the price point they were charging. You can absolutely find much better values nearby in Midtown.

Very clean. Staff was friendly.

Limited amenities for this price point.

Great location 13 minutes walk to Central Park. Beds are full size very small for regular Hilton experience in other cities. Filthy carpets they never vaccumm during our stay

Nice rooms and good location. However, the elevator situation is very poor. I was on the top floor, 34 stories up, and I had to wait 20 minutes for an elevator to arrive. When it arrived it was full. Had to walk down to the basement then back up to the lobby. Two other times I had a 10 plus minute wait. Stay somewhere else, it isn't worth it.
