Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan / Central Park

The rooms are very small and cramped. House cleaning was late on one day and wasn't done in the 2nd day. Location is good.

Everything is accessible from the hotel.. groceries, entertainment, banking, restaurants and subway. Location is great! The first room had a very strong moldy smell the moment you step off the elevator and banked the corner. We requested another room. The front end clerk at the time and the female manager lacked professionalism when dealing with the complaint. The second room had a cheaply repaired vanity in the bathroom and had black painted all over the the moulding. the shower curtain smelled sour and we didnt realized the next morning that the window was slightly open where they had duct taped it before. This explained the street noise. If we had a little child, they could have fallen out the window stories below without our knowing. You can see where they had duct taped it previously. Courtyard side were classless and didnt want to accept accountability. I think the Residence Inn side is a bit better or either Marriott standards have dropped. The complaints are legitimate.

The location was amazing The hotel was hot,maybe because they are renovating.

My partner and I were extremely disappointed with our stay. We experienced several big bites during our visit, which made us very uncomfortable and concerned about the cleanliness and condition of the room. On top of that, the service was incredibly frustrating. Whenever we called to request something we needed at the moment, such as tourist papers or other basic amenities, we were often left waiting for more than an hour. This is unacceptable, especially when guests are calling because they need something promptly. We repeatedly had to wait and follow up instead of receiving timely assistance. The combination of the bites, poor response time, and overall lack of attention made our stay stressful and far from what we expected. We paid for a comfortable and properly serviced stay, but unfortunately that is not what we received. Given these issues, I believe a refund is completely justified and would appreciate management addressing this situation seriously.

Location and staff were the hotel's main features. The ensuite was small.

Location Strong AC Lots of restaurants nearby Housekeeping did not refill all supplies ie creamer, soap daily. There was also No separate shampoo, just body gel to use as shampoo

Excellent, helpful staff especially the valet parking staff. Room was clean but warn and could use a refresh (duct tape holding the carpet down). Perfect location for a weekend theater trip.

Great location. Great breakfast service and variety of food - good value for money! The room was pretty small and the ‘corner room with a view’ is just a view of a brick building - I was expecting a view of Times Square
