    The mattresses are great

Positives - GREAT LOCATION, short walk to major subway lines and Central Park, not to mention neighboring stores, restaurants, cafes, etc. The bathroom and shower were spacious, modern, clean, and well-maintained. Also, I liked the room rules, the absence of drunken partyers, the security to get into the building and rooms, etc. The large lockable storage locker was sufficient for The bed seemed to be about halfway in between a twin and a full, which allowed me to sleep with my bag on one side of my bed. Negatives - for "business class", my mattress was on the thin size, uncomfortably so. While the "hotel" provides you with a towel sufficiently large to dry off after a shower, and a clean bedsheet, it does not provide blankets (they're extra🙄). And, yes, with the A/C blasting (mid-summer in NYC), it would have been nice to have a blanket. Another thing to point out is that the entire hotel is dimly lit, which may be great for sleeping, but for walking around can be off-putting to some. Would I sleep there again? Possibly, if the competition was as pricey as it was last week. I sure hope they do something about the business class cheap mattresses and the blankets-for-a-fee. 😕

    Nice and quiet

After I got past the slight confusion of digital check in (that was a new one on me!) It was honestly one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at. I got lucky and only had 2 other women in the 6 person dorm and they were both polite and friendly. I also love that it's so close to Central Park! For a last minute booking (I literally booked it on my way there) it was a brilliant experience all around.

Shower wasn’t working in my room, house keeping removed my belongings in my room two days before I was to check out and receptionist was rude during my stay.

Hubo muchas opciones de restaurantes cerca.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Very clean, overall quiet and felt safe on the women's floor. Decent beds. They had to remove the bed walls for NYC sunlight requirements? per staff. They'll give you an extra sheet to hang for better privacy.

    Very great experience

Great concept. Perfect for solo travelers or friends who are each covering their own expenses. I highly recommend it.

Los chicos de la recepción fueron excelentes anfitriones, una atención inmejorable, con indicaciones precisas, 6 atentos a las necesidades. Todo estuvo muy bien, y es un lugar perfecto para ir, dormir y salir...

Super awesome. Front desk guy was super helpful and nice. I had the “chill room/floor” which was a private pod shared with one person. Sleep pod was great and had a locker in the room that had more than enough space. Bathroom in the room aswell. Floor has a shared kitchen, with filtered water, microwave, dishes, and a fridge. Floor also had a massage chair which was great after a long day. Only stayed one night but for the price it was great and everyone minded their business. They have a female only floor aswell which I thought was great.

They charged 20$ for upgrade for towel and bedsheet service but they kept same towel and sheets for second day.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

great for 20 year-old backpackers who carry their own lock for security. Don’t mind NO privacy. NO phone to call the front desk so Have to go all the way downstairs to request the AC to be turned on in room. Staff is SO slow and didn’t explain any of this on check-in.!!!! That they Physically have to come up Into the room to turn it on and are told - don’t ask to change the temperature cause we don’t do that. Clean but not a place for adults.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

    * Cleanliness — rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are frequently described as clean and well maintained. * Good value for New York City — many solo travelers felt it was a good budget option compared with hotels in Manhattan. * Helpful staff and easy self-check-in/check-out.

Motion detection lights and 4-6 in a room with a bathroom outside of the room is criminal. The front desk people were nice and the location is good. Lots of places to charge your phone as well.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Great location, I was on the only female floor and everyone was very respectful with the noise level, for the price and location, you can’t beat that

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

In the end, the convenience and cleanliness of the property is hard to beat. I just think it could be better for the price.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Si pudiera pedir una mejora seria que el camarote no se mueva tanto al subirme y que la escalera del camarote no talle tanto, del resto para la relación precio me fue muy bien y más sabiendo que fue una emergencia.
