On two separate nights, we had to stay up late waiting for basic service: first for shampoo to be delivered, and then the following night for the toilet to be unclogged. We were also informed that this is apparently an ongoing issue due to soaps being flushed down the toilet. Overall, the experience did not meet the standard we expected from a hotel of this caliber.

Park Central Hotel is great if you need to be in that location. New York has so much to offer wherever you are. I had stayed at a nearby property in February and wanted to try something different, and I'd probably go back to that hotel as the rooms were substantially much much larger.

The 1 elevator going up to our room was always busy and congested. It took forever to get into or out of our room. The lobby store closed sporadically during the day. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Did not change our sheets the first night. Thx second day I stripped our sheets to make sure they changed them while we were gone that day. Came back only sheets on the bed and no blankets or comforters. Had to call the lobby which took forever because they don’t always answer the phone. The 3rd day we were there, they didn’t clean our room at all. After comin back from a long exhausting day, we had no clean towels and overflowing trash cans. The room was extremely small. The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. I will not stay here again.

The hotel is old. Most rooms smell terrible. Airconditioning is broken. The staff is the best part. They tried to get us new rooms, arrange stand fans etc. This is a pure infrastructure breakdown. The staff, the coffee place and location are all excellent. The beds were clean, bathrooms are beat up but clean. The carpets smell moldy (aged), AC units are atleast 25 or 30 yrs old. Until this place is fully remodeled pls delist in Expedia

Very slow elevator. Plan ahead for traveling from room to lobby. Purchase breakfast option has a very limited selection (pastry, drink, fruit). Great location. Easy to get around.
-
Very helpful to have parking garage near the hotel.. good value for a nice room with gym and central location.. would recommend

Clean room, nice facilities.

Loved the location. Next to the subway station and 10 mins walk to Time Square. Recommend 10/10

Upgraded to the West building hotel, which included snacks, beverages, afternoon cocktails and breakfast in a guest hospitality suite. Very nice comfortable and quiet room.

Clean room and beautiful

I’ve stayed here many times without incident . This time the bathroom sink was clogged and after several complaints they never addressed it until the morning I was leaving . However the manager compensated for a one night stay … for that reason alone I will return to the property .

It’s not worth all the money that I have paid daily. There was mildew in the shower and the whole place looks like something that have seen better days. Need a makeover.
-
There are multiple patches of mold in the bathroom.

Breakfast was not worth it. Some of the staff was very nice and helpful, while others not so much. Rooms were clean but overall hotel was showing signs of needing renovation ( carpet, elevators).

1) Bathroom was very small but upgraded. All of the caulking around the shower and sink had mold. The bathroom also smelled musky like the shower curtain hadn’t been washed in years. The smell was bad. 2) the rugs were filthy and stained in the room and the hallways 3) there was an electrical socket almost completely hanging out of the wall 4) the wallpaper in the hallways was peeling and coming off the walls. I paid close to $1000 for our room and it didn’t feel like a $1000 room. Other than that the staff was great as was the location of the hotel.

The hotel is situated close by Cebtral Park and walking distance to Times Square and all of the amazing Broadway shows. If you don’t want to walk, you can always grab the train which is located just around the corner from the hotel. Tourist Trip note. If you are going to eat a slice of pizza, stay away from the $1-2 slices and grab a slice of Original Rays.

Lobby was nice and clean. The room itself was decent, thankful for a fridge to store cold drinks. Family of 4 with lots of luggage and we had a good amount of space. I would definitely stay again. Great location, extremely friendly staff and great places nearby to grab a bite. First time to New York, and we had a great stay!

The location was phenomenal. The price was also very affordable.. I’m not sure if I would give it a four star hotel rating as a very small simple room. But the front desk staff were friendly. We had a discount on a parking garage that was two blocks away.

Nothing just the location The receptionist lady was so rude she talk in a high altitude like she owns the place. No water at the room no bathroom stuff just the shampoo and soap. I paid 400$ for 1 star hotel.

Excellent location in terms of proximity to the park. Unfortunately, our windows were dirty on the exterior, presumably due to construction across the street. Another family member stayed in a cleaner room. I think we stayed in a room that is booked more frequently and had more wear and tear. Size was great for NY. Our bathroom was a bit musty. No cups in our room, no refrigerator but there are fridges in some rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
