The Manhattan Club

Nice and clean in good location.

The best thing about the Manhattan club is the suite is very big. We also like the location and the staff. They were very helpful and specially the parking it’s unbelievably low priced.

The room service was great; they cleaned daily and replaced all the comfort items and bathroom supplies. Breakfast was also nice, with fruits, protein choices, and fresh juice. We picked this hotel mainly because it has a kitchen. When traveling with family, having a kitchen makes it easier to cook home food for the kids instead of running around looking for food during attractions. It keeps things comfortable for everyone. Unfortunately, they don’t allow using an Instant Pot.

Room was great size, exceptionally clean and with lovely windows. 2 closets made for nice hanging for his and hers. But missing a chest. Used small drawers in nightstand which was adequate for 3 day stay. Fridge, microwave, real dishes were a plus and coffee maker. Wish this hotel (and all hotels) would stop the expresso kick. Folks just want real coffee.

The cons I had read in reviews before including slow elevators - which they fixed by adding 2 additional ones. The one bad thing about the stay was the central AC which cannot be controlled by any unit. As such, it was quite chilly. We managed to close one of the vents but what really helped was, after we called down, the front desk staff immediately sent up extra blankets so we were all comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. Elevators were only half in use so that took some time however everything else was great.

Great location, nice reception area and friendly stuff We stayed in room 228 which is marketed as "Metropolitan suite", but this is not a suite and should not be sold as a suite. It is a small cramped and dark room with less than minimal kitchen accessories. The room is without a proper window (half of the glass is coated) making the room very dark and dingy. The room was very noisy, day and night, since the air condition machines of the hotel are at that level, in front of the window. Also, no proper light in the bathroom. This is the worst hotel room that we ever stayed and we can not recommend it to our friends. The elevators situation is terrible (1 guest elevator and 2 service elevators), it takes a lot of time to get up or down.

Exceptional

Fantastic location, comfortable and well-equipped suite, and very professional and friendly staff. Everything made our family stay in New York easy and enjoyable. The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t book enough days in New York — and at The Manhattan Club!

Location They took a $500 deposit that I didn’t get back for 3 weeks that they didn’t tell me about
